Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:00am – 3:00pmIntake and assessmentWith no appointment necessary, clients meet with trained intake counselors who coordinate initial referrals to over 14 Resource Center partners.
On-site service deliveryDuring regularly scheduled hours, staff from our partner organizations meet with clients on an appointment basis to discuss their individual cases and sign them up for services such as mental health treatment.

Classes and GroupsBridge House and other organizations provide classes in job skills, money management, and other skills in areas that will lead to more independence.
Bridge House offers two tracks of employment
services
Custom Job Placement Services: clients work with staff to create individualized
employment plans with specific services to their goals. Clients meet with job readiness staff one-on-one, participate in classes or
trainings as needed, fulfill job search plans and more.
Ready to Work: Immediate access to transitional employment. Trainees engage in comprehensive programming combining up
to 29 hours per week of paid work; case management; financial management;
sobriety support; job readiness training; and mentoring. RTW is a 9 to 12 month program
leading to mainstream employment.

•Paid, transitional work in Social Enterprise as a stepping stone to mainstream work•Two work options – landscaping or food service•16 positions, expanding to 48•Up to 29 hours a week, $8.23 hr for 4months, raise to $9 hr•Build resume and reference•Earn and save money•Commitment to 9 to 12 month program, begin to seek mainstream employment at 7 months•Transportation provided – Ecopass during paid employment phase
• Outdoor crew:– Morning shifts, 7 days a week, minimum of 20hours a week– Works assignments – City of Boulder
Departments of Open Space Mountain Parks, Parks and Recreation, Parking Services & Boulder Housing Partners
– Physical work, training in horticulture and landscaping
– Afternoon case management and groups

Application

Internship
• Internship – up to one month in volunteer assignment, assessment of motivation• Pre-RTW case management – obtain ID, ensure interest and commitment,
monitorsobriety, sign Terms of Participation
• Work crew assignment - paid work begins, RTW case management requirements

Importance of the Internship
• Allows us to get to know theperson.• Identify potential areas of
growth for the intern.• Develop an individualized plan
to help them be successful in Ready to Work and beyond.
• Individualized plan can include addressing behavioral health, medical, financial, and social skills issues.
• Gives people a chance to show their commitment to being part Ready to Work transitional employment & housing.
• Desire to work• Capacity and interest in full-time, mainstream
employmentafter 9 months• Ability to work in industries offered• Proper Identification or ability to get it• Commitment to sobriety• Interest in RTW housing• Must pass background check - no sex offenses, felonies
are case by case• History of homelessness, experiencing homelessness in
Boulder County• Over 18 years of age, in good physical health
• Share opportunity with your clients• Screen for basic eligibility• Work with client to fill out RTW application
(optional)• Send client to info session (Dates to be Announced)• Send client to Bridge House on Mondays at
10:30AM or to the Resource Center Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 9:00AM and 3:00 PM
