How To Make Any Computer Boot

Up or Shut Down on a Schedule.

It is more convenient to see that if computer it can be automatically power up in the morning or it either shut down in the evening time which after work.

The windows, Mac OSX & Linux can be schedule boot-ups, shut downs and also wake-ups.

Windows.Window can allows you to set

boot-up & shutdown times First of all start menu search box

type “task scheduler.”

Through the Task Scheduler, and it can run the “shutdown” command. Then we set the shutting down own computer at a specific/particular time.(afterward is commands might be need.)

Shut down :shutdown.exe –s –t 00Hibernate; rundll32.exe

Mac OSXThe option is available in System

Preferences window on a Mac,Click the manu, Select System

Preferences and click the Energy Saver Icon in the System Preferences window.

Linux.The rtcwake command allows you to

shcedule wake-up on LinuxCommand puts your computer to sleep,

hibernates it or shuts it down while specifying a time that it can boot-ups again.

You should run the appropriate rtcwake command before you going to bed, and it will automatically boot-up in your schedule time.

But the rtcwake command is not put your computer to sleep immediately. We can decided which is shutdown or either sleep.

Wake-on-LAN.Every type of computer can

involve “Wake-On-Lan” / magic packets.

Lan is baked into a computer BIOS/UEFI firmware level, below the operating system itsself.

It usually with a wired ethernet connection, but we can also set to accept wake-on-Lan packets sent over Wi-Fi.

Once you have wake-on-Lan working, then you could set up a device to send wake-on-Lan packets to other devices on a schedule.
