over the past 6 years the nationally recognized Pistons

Academy is on a full court press for expansion of

our summer camp footprint. If you are looking for

a meaningful and marketable experience for your

organization, Pistons Academy is your perfect sixth man.

Last summer over 1,500 campers attended our camps,

making it our largest camp tour ever! Our experienced

coaching staff is trained to bring out the best in every

player. Combined with exciting Pistons assets like our

official mascot Hooper, high-flying dunk squad the

Extreme Team, our own DJ and Pistons Legends, our

camps will thrill players of all ages!

ABOUT PISTONS ACADEMY

• Founded in 2012, Pistons Academy is the youth basketball arm of the Detroit Pistons

• Since 2012, over 32,000 athletes have participated in our camps, leagues and clinics

• Our participants range from grades K-10, and we have programs for players of all skill levels

• Pistons Academy Director, Geo Thomas has been facilitating youth basketball programs since 1991

ABOUT OUR CAMP PROGRAM

• Camps run Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

• We do not offer care services before or after the camps

• Most camps are for boys and girls entering grades 3-9

• In 2018, our average attendance was 103 campers per week

• We are able to handle the entire camp from check-in to post-camp surveys

• We provide all equipment and staff needed to facilitate the camp

• All of our coaches are highly trained to handle any issue which may arise

THE CAMP EXPERIENCE

• All campers receive a Pistons Academy jersey

• All campers receive a free ticket/credit to one (1) Pistons home game during the 2019-20 season

• Daily website updates highlighting camper achievements along with stats and standings

• The Pistons deliver some of their most exciting assets which include:

– Pistons Extreme Team (dunk squad)

– Hooper (official Pistons mascot)

– Pistons Drumline

– Mason (voice of the Pistons)

– Pistons Legends (former players)

• Awards ceremony live streamed on Friday of each camp

FINANCIALS

• Seeking a 70-30 partnership

• Pistons Academy will pay all camp expenses, including provision of certificate of insurance with 70% of all gross revenue

• With 30% of all gross revenue, the host facility provides:

– Gymnasium that can hold 80+ kids

– Restrooms and lunch area

– Trash cans, garbage bags and relevant cleaning supplies

– Check-in tables and chairs

– Advertising within host organization or community

ADVERTISING

Pistons Academy will promote summer camps through the following assets:

• Collateral at all Pistons Academy events

• Detroit Pistons and Pistons Academy websites, and respective social media outlets

• TV and radio spots

• In-arena announcements during Pistons home games

• Direct mailing, if applicable

• Electronic mailings to our Hardwood, Playmakers, and Future Pistons affinity clubs
