    5. Marketing strategy: 4P

Price: Have discounts for those who bring another friend and got selected or if they bring 2 or 3friends they could have a free internship. Try to make them bring more friends and be moreinvolved by offering discounts depending on the LCs budget. This can be discussed with VPFinance, VP oGIP or International Internships or with OC Finance from the GIPRecruitments (if any).

Placement: Mainly in Universities, but you can also try Job Fairs, Career Fairs because thereyou can meet recent graduates and students in search for a job + you can see what the Marketingmarket from your city offers in order to come with a better offer and with different pool.

Promotion: Offline: presentations in Universities and Universities campus (dorms, flyers, posters, class- shouts), presentations at Job/Career Fairs if possible. Have Deans or professorssupport, Erasmus or other programs. Youth organizations (which can help you in both online andoffline promotion). Other events like World Cafes for all the recruitments where you can includemarketing

During promotion, its a plus if you can that have worked with marketing EPs. In this way youcan be more credible in front of the students, because you will know what are you talking about. Also, to find innovative ways to reach the students attention.Online: newsletters, university site (if possible), e-mail marketing, social media (Facebook, blog,LinkedIn) website, online publications, university groups/channels, recruitment companies:hipo.ro.

    Global Mindset

    1. Imagine that you have to work in an international team, where you dont knoweach other. The team consists of 10 members that are from 5 differentcountries. You can add other questions and you can test other competencies. What is veryimportant is to test their Global Mindset and disponibility to go. Dont raise EPs withouthaving interviews and without testing at least 2 comeptencies from the GlobalCompetenc y Model, because even if theyre EPs, they represent AIESEC.

If you have more recruitments on GIP pools, you should have a OCP/Responsibleof Selection and OC TM from all the recruitments to be coordinated by that person (inorder to have a more organized selection)

    7.Raising

You should Ra an EP right after selection, because otherwise you can lose him/her. If there aremoney problems, you can talk and negotiate with the EPs and with the VP.

The contract on GIP should be of 3 months length. If the EPs are not matched, you can negotiateto extend the contract for 1 month.

You can assign a TRIAL account for 1 week for example and then ask the EPs to provide you atleast 5 TNs they like, especially if the profile is more difficult or i f theres less experience.Otherwise you can sign directly the contract.

MUST: EP Buddy/Responsible for the EPs. The EP buddy shall be a person from theInternational Internships area. The EP Buddy/Responsible shall provide TNs to the EP or shallapply f or them if thats what the EP wants. The EP Buddy/Responsible shall do Customer CareService (call the EP weekly, meet him/her if possible at least 1/month, send e-mails, be in

    contact with the EP).

MUST: Goal setting with the EP right after signing the contract. After 1 month it should bechecked to see if something has changed.

    8. Matching

You can also read the Matching booklet from National Level. Ask your VP for it.

Have a matching plan (with pre- defined DDLs) where you can track the EPs activity and where

the VP can track the EP Buddies activity.

Ask the EPs to apply for at least 5-10 TNs/a week .

The International Partnerships Responsible will provide all the details concerning new partnerships realized by AIESEC Romania.

Provide preparation on Pimp my CV/ Tips for interviews. You can ask your alumni on HR or other local partners. Give feedback to your EPs on their documents, for example tell them not tohave regular CVs.

During tracking, check with the EP if he/she has all the clear information and clear JD from theTN Managers or if she/he has any problems/doubts regarding procedures.-Matching Manias-1x/month meeting with EPs VP and EP buddy(sharing+ problems met)-1x/month Matching Day in the office

Make sure you keep contact with the EPs until the host LC receives them.

Track the EPs abroad with EP Buddies help. Keep in mind that the EP Buddies activity doesntend after matching. Give emails or contact him/her on Facebook. It's good to know if everythingis going well and also you can encourage him/her to send pictures and testimonials andmoreover make him/ her help you in encouraging the other EPs. (contact at least once/week).Give emails related to home reality check and also other internship opportunities (especially

when the internship is almost to an end)

    10. Re-integrationAfter coming back home have a re-integration meeting. Have a small discussion and setexpectations + for the next period. Try to offer opportunities of re-raising. Set a plan for reintegration that suits him/her best. Have a booklet with TN opportunities for the EPs that have

    potential of re-raising.

Invite the EP to LC meeting in order for him/her to share his/her experience. Try to invitehim/her to World Cafs or other events for returnees. Use their experience for recruiting other

EPs with same profile.Remind him/her about NPS, to evaluate the exchange and ask for feedback for the home/hostLCs. This helps you have a clear view of the host LC for future.
