RJTHOMPSON EASY MEALS IN MINUTES

Project Title:Designer Dialogues

Media Used: Adobe Illustrator CS4

Research Criteria:Research based on fellow regional AIGA chapters events and event advertising. Research also based on past Designer Dialogue designs.

Target Audience:Graphic Designers and AIGA Pittsburgh Members ages 18-70.

Concept:Create posters for the event by calling attention to “the usual sus-pects” found in design projects and focus on their roles within a certain project that is being discussed at a Dialogue event.

Solutions:Solution embraces a purely illustrative style in order to promote this event in contrast to photographic or special ef fects this event had used in past designs. This intended focus was more on the people and their roles within a certain project as opposed to the group or company as a whole. The il lustrations in the posters are purposely missing certain details in order to suggest a quality of vagueness and the transitional position of those that are speaking about a specif ic project.
