I have made this case study to show people how much money can be made using the arb software. It would have been a lot more money if I had used larger stakes on the first few bets. I spent 3 hours placing the bets. That was not solid time clued to the screen. This included a 40-‐minute lunch break half way through. When I set up for an arbing session, I don’t bother using any filter for the ratings. The reason for this is you spot some good arbs, which are slightly higher in value and are worth taking. The only filter set was the bookmakers. I focused on UK bookies for this session. I used the standard match calculations so I made a profit what ever happens. I kept on hitting the refresh button every 20 seconds. A low odds bet usually appears after a few minutes (hint: you only need to do 1 or 2 decent size bets a day to make a decent profit). Low odds are the best as they require less liability in Betfair and there is always a lot more money available to lay meaning you can do higher stakes. However the ratings are usually lower. My take on it is I would rather do 1 large bet that ties up my money and spend less time at the computer. And finally bigger stakes = more profit with less work. Don’t forget that. Below are the bets I placed including screen shots.


Bet 1 After logging in to the software and setting myself up at 11:00 AM it wasn’t long until the first opportunity appeared. The first thing I looked at was the amount of money available in the exchange market. I can see £146 so that is how I set my back stake. I tried a few calculations and saw that I could take most of the lay money doing a £125 back bet with Coral.

I already had my Coral account open in another window so was able to get the bet £125 on under 2.5 goals.

I layed £142.63 with Betfair to make £10.50 what ever happens.

Bet 1 profit -‐ £10.50


Bet 2 The best way to make a lot of money with this software is with horse racing. Place the bet with the bookmaker but wait to place the lay bet. 75% of the time the lay odds will drop. The remaining 25% of the time they usually stay the same and occasionally drift out. If you see them drifting out then you must place the lay bet so you don’t lose money. I placed £100 with Bet Victor on Mataajir.

I monitored the odds and placed the lay bet a few minutes before the off to make a risk free £19.75 profit.



Bet 3 I took the odds quoted and locked in the profit instantly. It was a good bet so I didn’t bother waiting for the odds to drift.

I bet £200 on Wordiness 2.62 with Sky Bet.

I missed the 2.3 lay price but took all the money at 2.32.

Bet 3 profit -‐ £19.30 I could have made more money doing the same bets on Blue Square and 888 Sport.


However I didn’t want to use my whole bank on a few bets for this case study. So I didn’t use them.

Bet 4 Not the greatest bet in the world with high odds. I always take the odds instantly with football bets. I went for a small stake of £50, as there are better opportunities.

I bet £50 on Arsenal / Arsenal with Coral at odds 7.5.

I then layed Arsenal / Arsenal with £57.25 to make a risk free profit of £4.39/



Bet 5

An ok arb but very low odds. Ladbrokes have huge limits on these events. I would have done more (limit on Laddies was £2000) but I didn’t want to tie up my whole bank. I took a couple of minutes for the bet to get taken on Betfair. There was plenty of money available at 1.58 but I wanted the best price.



Bet 6

Nice arb from Boyles at low odds. I waited for the odds to drop a bit before placing the lay bet. Odds drifted in even more before the off L This is the key with horse racing odds. Wait for them to drift in as they do most of the time making you more money.



Bet 7

Another good low odds arb. I again waited for the odds to drop before placing the lay bet.



Bet 8 Final bet for the session was with Bet Victor. Took the larger odds and waited for them to drift right it.

I placed £100 on Overrider with Betvictor.

And layed £119.66 with Betfair to make a risk free profit of £13.68.

Bet 8 profit -‐ £13.68 That completed my trading session, which was profitable for little work. Main points to take away: -‐

1) Use lower odds were possible. 2) Place larger stakes. The less time you spend the better. 3) Horse racing (if you have time) wait for the odds to drop a little bit before

laying. Make sure you place the lay bet if the odds start moving against you.

4) If you can’t get an instant match then wait a few minutes for the lay stake to get matched.

Arbing is guaranteed free money. Unlike betting tips, forex trading or any other make money system you can’t fail to make money with this. A small amount of action each day placing a few decent size bets will make a good second income.
