USING SKYPE? ONLINE MEETING TOOLS MAY NOT CUT IT

With the rise of telecommuting and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives, workplace technology is rapidly becoming more geographically distributed and complex. Companies are conducting more and more of their processes remotely, from online meetings to customer support. In an attempt to save money, many companies attempt to use existing online meeting tools for remote support and vice versa. But while this may decrease the initial investment, the resulting inefficiencies typically end up costing more in the long run.

Because it is designed for online meetings, Microsoft Skype for Business doesn’t offer the advanced capabilities enterprise help desks need to provide support to their end users.
