Pre-Launch Checklist□ Battery Switch Set to 1

□ Ignition Key In, Turn Over Motor

□ VHF and CB Radio Working

□ Tie Down Straps Removed

□ Bow Chain Removed

□ Drain bung Installed

□ Motor Tilted Up

□ Toolkit (Spare Key) and Water

□ Mooring Line

□ Trailer Lights Disconnected

Launch Procedure1. Close reversing brake tab. Reverse the

trailer slowly down ramp.

2. Assistant to hold mooring rope, standing well clear of trailer.

3. Depending on slope of ramp, reverse far enough until stern floats or until trailer wheel in water.

4. Apply P and handbrake in car and leave engine running.

5. Get out and unhook winch wire from bow. If it is difficult to remove; release ratchet and pay off wire to release hook then re-engage ratchet. (Do not engage handle)

6. Push boat off trailer. If trailer will not budge. Pull trailer forward 1 ft and reverse and jerk it off.

7. Assistant secure and board boat. Trim motor down.

8. Assistant start engine and warm up. Set battery switch to 2.

9. Secure winch wire and park trailer.

Recovery Procedure1. Ready mooring line bow and stern.

2. Moor up boat to dock. Trim up motor. Assistant remain on dock.

3. Recover trailer and reverse down ramp.

4. Pay out winch wire, then engage ratchet.

5. Engage handle in high gear.

6. Line up boat and bring bow up trailer. Hook on winch wire. Assistant to hold mooring rope standing well clear of trailer.

7. Winch boat onto trailer, keeping straight. If needed change handle to lower gear.

8. Attach bow safety chain.

9. Tow boat out slowly to the de-rigging area. Wash down boat and trailer. Flush motor.

10. Carry out pre-towing checklist.
