Program objectiveThe role of Board Directors is increasingly becoming more challenging with the changing regulatory landscape and the transforming business eco-system. Effective boards are rebalancing responsibilities, focusing on better governance and more rigorous checks and balances. The demands from you as a board member are greater than ever. Fundamentally, the role of the board is different from that of the management and requires a different set of skills. This tailored program will help board members in acquiring and perfecting these skills.
With senior faculty from the Indian School of Business (ISB), in collaboration with EY subject matter experts, you will gain an understanding of the responsibilities of board membership, shareholders’ interests along with the tools and imperatives for effective financial health assessment. You will benefit from powerful insights needed to become a more effective director.

Prof. Sanjay Kallapur, Chairman, Faculty performance Management, Faculty and Research at Indian School of Business. He is also an External Director of LIC and holds a PhD in Business Economics and Accounting from Harvard University
Prof. Dishan Kamdar, is Deputy Dean Academic Programs and Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business. His work is widely published in top-tier journals

Program fee and inclusionsThe fee payable to ISB for the program is INR 1.5 Lacs plus S.T.As EY guests, you are entitled to a special fee of INR 1.25 Lacs plus S.T.
The program fee will cover the cost of program materials, accommodation for three nights at ISB executive housing or equivalent, classroom and all meals, and receptions.
The program will be conducted in the ISB campus in Hyderabad. This state-of-the-art campus with best-in-class amenities and facilities is a located in tranquil settings and provides an environment that is conducive to learning. The centre is in close proximity to the Hyderabad International Airport.
