This  is  what  Tangerine  Bank  in  Canada  has  done  so  far

>95%  reductionin  the  time  required  to  replicate  a  hardware  and  software  stack

Significant  reductionsexpected  in  infrastructure  overhead  costs

67%  reductionin  the  time  to  market  for  delivering  new  mobile  apps  and  functions

Solution  components• IBM  Mobile  Quality  Assurance  for  Bluemix ®• IBM  PureApplication® System• IBM  MobileFirst® Platform  Foundation• IBM  Tealeaf® CX  Mobile  • IBM  API  Management  • IBM  DataPower ®• IBM  Software  Services  for  WebSphere® – Lab  Services

Business  challenge: Tangerine  Bank’s  successful  strategy  has  been  to  always  stay  on  the  offensive  and  be  willing  and  able  to  disrupt  the  status  quo  with  Canadian  market  firsts  such  as  mobile  check  deposits  and  biometric  security.  With  mobile  apps  on  the  front  line  of  competition  and  customer  expectations  forever  rising,  Tangerine  needed  to  compress  its  app  development  cycle  while  homing  in  on  exactly  what  customers  like  and  don’t  like  in  the  app  experience.

The  transformation: Tangerine  is  using  a  new  mobile  application  development  infrastructure  to  dramatically  cut  time  to  market  for  new  app  services  and  features,  getting  from  concept  to  the  customer  in  a  fraction  of  the  time.  Analytics  on  customer  usage  patterns  and  feedback  provide  a  direct  pipeline  into  the  development  process,  to  the  point  where  some  of  the  bank’s  most  recent  and  popular  service  innovations  have  been  crowdsourced  from  customers.

“By  coordinating  our  infrastructure  with  our  development  operations,  we’re  geared  to  move  at  the  speed  of  mobile.”—Peter  Aceto,  president  and  chief  executive  officer
