GAUGE 9 sts and 14 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Seed St pat with 2 strands held tog.
INSTRUCTIONSWith 2 strands of MC held tog, cast on 107 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follow:
Row 1: (RS). *K1. P1. Rep from * to last st. K1.
Note that Row 1 is RS row. Rep this row for Seed St Pat. Cont in Seed St Pat until work from beg measures 28" [71 cm], ending on a RS row.
Break 1 strand of MC. Join 1 strand of A. With 1 strand each of MC and A, cont in Seed St Pat until work from beg measures 35" [89 cm], ending on a RS row.
Break MC. Join 1 strand of A. With 2 strands of A, cont in Seed St Pat until work from beg measures 42" [106.5 cm], ending on a RS row.
Break 1 strand of A. Join 1 strand of B. With 1 strand each of A and B, cont in Seed St Pat until work from beg measures 49" [124.5 cm], ending on a RS row.
Break A. Join 1 strand of B. With 2 strands of B, cont in Seed St Pat until work from beg measures 56" [142 cm], ending on a RS row. Cast off knitwise.

Tassels (make 6 each with MC and B).Cut a piece of cardboard 6" [15 cm] wide. Wind yarn around cardboard 70 times. Break yarn leaving a long end and thread end through needle. Slip needle through all loops and tie tightly. Remove cardboard and wind yarn tightly around loops 1" [2.5 cm] below fold. Fasten securely. Cut through rem loops and trim ends evenly. Sew 6 MC Tassels evenly spaced across cast on edge and 6 B Tassels evenly spaced across cast off edge.
