Approximately 10 percent of the world’s population is left-handed. In honor of International Left-Handers Day, on August 10, 2012, the Gonzales Inquirer published an entire newspaper which opened from LEFT TO RIGHT for our southpaw readers and called it “When Left is Right!” We did an overrun on printing as many, many locals came by the office to purchase several left-handed editions to send to their friends and relatives who are left-handed. Local lefties liked having "their own newspaper" for a day, and said they’d keep it as a special treasure.
