How You Can HelpRunning a Non-Profit Organization isn’t easy.

Without the support of you, we would not be able to do this. One of the most effective ways to help us is to spread the word about who we are, what we do and why we do it. There are also a number of other way we could use your support:

¨ Donate – By donating you are ensuring that every time there is an injury or death, that Handler or Family will receive funds from us. You can donate by visiting our website at bluelinek9foundation.org

¨ Smile.Amazon.com – Choose BLK9 as your charity and Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases.

¨ Events – We are looking to expand our fundraising around the country. If you know of a great event that would work well with our foundation please contact us.

¨ Volunteer – Help us at events to get the word out for more support.

Meet the Founder–Jessica ZygmontJessica Zygmont founded Blue Line K9

Foundation in 2014 after her husband, Wes, was shot and his K9 Partner Ronin was killed in the line of duty. With months of recovery facing her family, Jessica quickly found herself surrounded by many friends, family, strangers, and organizations wanting to help. That is where the vision for BLK9 started.

Jessica was raised in Bay City, Michigan and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1998. She graduated with her BS in Accountancy in 2007. She married Wes in 2013. Wes has fully recovered and is working the streets with his partner, K9 Mick.

Jessica has a boxer name Ranger, two cats, Ricki Bobbi and Texas, and a horse named Charlie while Wes is devoted to K9 Mick.

Testimonials:“I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the card I received after my partner lost his short battle with cancer. To be honest, I had never heard of your organization before this. Some people may consider a card like the one you sent a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me and my fellow handlers. Thank you for everything you do.”

“I was involved in a bad vehicle accident on duty at the beginning of March. Luckily, my K9 partner was not in the unit with me, or I’m sure she would have been injured. Not sure how you guys found out about the accident, but I received a “get well” card from you guys in the mail. It meant a lot. Just wanted to thank you for everything you do. So, Thank you!”
