Health and WellbeingOur PE lessons for the next few weeks will be based on circuit training.Twice per week, I would like you to complete this challenge. Your aim is to improve your number as you progress through the sessions. Ensure you have a reliable clock to measure the time or ask a sibling or adult to help. I have added a YouTube clip next to each exercise, so please have a look to ensure you are performing the exercise correctly.

Learning Across the CurriculumOur IDL topic is “Kilmacolm”

This week, please catch up on the previous tasks below. In addition, I would like you to try and draw or paint a local view. This can be any local view such as The Knapps, the village square, the school etc. You can use any type of pens, pencils, charcoal or paint you have at home. If you would like, you could make it into Pattern Art, similar to what we tried earlier in the year:

A Tourist Trail1. Create a tourist map of Kilmacolm highlighting as many places of interest as you can. 2. Make your map into a trail with a start and end point. You may want to include a visit to a café (or somewhere similar)

to have lunch, or even a nice picnic spot. 3. Create directions between different locations on your map.4. Create a promotional video for your tourist trail, this could include pictures of short clips at each place of interest.

There are various movie making apps available that allow you to easily put different clips together. Charles Rennie Mackintosh in Kilmacolm

Why don’t you have a go at drawing a Charles Rennie Mackintosh Rose? Discover how to draw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P2Nx85POfs

Last week we looked at the very special house in Kilmacolm that was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Did you manage to discover it? As a reminder, here is the ideas from last week: Can you discover the name of the house? Can you find out where it is a take a walk to it? Can you make a sketch of it (you can always use a picture from the internet rather than standing in front of someone’s house to draw it!) Design your own house. What would it look like? What features would it have? Where would it be located?

NewsroundWatch Newsround every day. Pick one of the news reports from Newsround and write about it. This could be your opinion, a summary, continue and write more or write a letter to someone about it. What about creating a leaflet with a picture to go with it?
