#Blkgrlswurld ZINE is an indie publisher based in New York City since 2014. Led by siblings Christina Long, MFA (Creative Director) and Courtney Long (Sr. Editor), since 2013. The press celebrates Womxn of Color who partic-ipate in heavy music genres like Metal-core, Hardcore, Punk and Black Metal.
Interviewing bands, attending concerts and vending at art book fairs allow #Blkgrlswurld ZINE to introduce read-ers to new music and the diversity within music scenes.
The small press accepts open submis-sions from anyone who supports womxn identifying fans & musicians in the heavy music scene.
