ABSF has sighted guides and instructors for skiers of varying levels of expertise. From March 22-27 of 2009, 21 members of ABSF trav- eled to Park City, Utah. Even before the club disembarked from the bus, the snow had begun to fall. The snow accu- mulation was only several inches on the first day but by the morning of the 27th, over 36 inches of fresh powder had amassed. ABSF members enjoyed the wide runs at different skill levels offered at Park City Mountain. Some of the skiers had never attempted to ski in powder that was so deep and the winds whipped up a blizzard of a storm. Fortunately, there were no skiing-related injuries and everyone had a grand time. However, one of the guides twisted his ankle exiting an establishment apparently too quickly with his assigned skier. ABSF members enjoyed 4½ days of excellent skiing, including the wide runs at different skill levels. Club mem- bers visited the Olympic Village, the Kimball Art Center, historic Main Street and enjoyed the alpine coaster and sleigh rides at the mountain.
