POSITION OPENING
Our Lady of the Holy Souls, a parish of 1200 families with a PK-8 school in the heart of Little Rock, is seeking a Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization. We are looking for an energetic candidate who can take on a dual leadership role that works simultaneously: 1) Catechesis which is the overall responsibility for the parish catechetical formation and 2) Evangelization with a broad focus to reach those within the active community, the inactive community and the unchurched. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education/Theology or other related field with experience in parish ministry and excellent organization and communication skills. Fasting is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by all Catholics who are 18 years of age but not yet 59. Those who are bound by this may take only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted if necessary to maintain strength according to one‘s needs, but eating solid foods between meals is not permitted.
