Blessed Sacrament Church wants to congratulate Madeline Wilcox for all the great work she did

collecting food for the Catholic Charities Thanksgiving Food Drive. Madeline is a student at Blessed

Sacrament Catholic School, and her parents Kristine and Rob, as well as the family, are active members

of our parish. When some of the service projects were not available this year because of Covid

restrictions, Madeline decided to organize a food drive to help Catholic Charities with their annual

Thanksgiving drive. This drive provides Thanksgiving meals for many in our community that are deeply

in need. Madeline was able to collect a ton of food by getting the entire school involved. She explained

the project and gave all the classrooms bags so that students and teachers could participate. Catholic

Charities was very appreciative of the generous donation, and we are very proud of her efforts. Madeline

serves as a source of inspiration, encouraging all to be an active and involved members of our

community, illustrating how one person truly can, and did, make a difference.

No

“Tú lo has dicho: yo soy Rey”. (Juan 18:37).
