Blessed Sacrament Church wants to congratulate Madeline Wilcox for all the great work she did
collecting food for the Catholic Charities Thanksgiving Food Drive. Madeline is a student at Blessed
Sacrament Catholic School, and her parents Kristine and Rob, as well as the family, are active members
of our parish. When some of the service projects were not available this year because of Covid
restrictions, Madeline decided to organize a food drive to help Catholic Charities with their annual
Thanksgiving drive. This drive provides Thanksgiving meals for many in our community that are deeply
in need. Madeline was able to collect a ton of food by getting the entire school involved. She explained
the project and gave all the classrooms bags so that students and teachers could participate. Catholic
Charities was very appreciative of the generous donation, and we are very proud of her efforts. Madeline
serves as a source of inspiration, encouraging all to be an active and involved members of our
community, illustrating how one person truly can, and did, make a difference.

What better way to thank God for His continued blessings than to give back to His
children! Beginning November 16 (and through midnight on December 1), please visit iGiveCatholic.org
and support BSCS (Diocese of Charleston). Transactions made on iGiveCatholic.org are secure and
your donations (of any amount) are appreciated and tax deductible. You may also give “offline” directly
to the school. The funds are needed to continue upgrades of the basic technology installed about 20
years ago. As students grow in their information technology knowledge, more access points for better
WiFi connectivity are greatly needed. Thank you for your support!

No
“Tú lo has dicho: yo soy Rey”. (Juan 18:37).
¿Somos conscientes
de esto?
