Through her we continue to see how great things happen in our world, in our hearts and in our homes. With Mary we get to see how great things happen to those who trust in her. If only we are able to do just like her: listen to God’s voice, decide freely and wholeheartedly for what we grasp as God’s will in our lives and embrace God’s plan in full trust and freedom. The time of Advent is the best opportunity we have to reflect on this. The time of Christmas is the time to rejoice in this truth. And, this year, as we step into the year of Mercy, we are welcome to enter into the di- mension of the Blessed Mother’s own spirituality and soul mystery. “For, his mercy endures through all generations,” as she prays in the Magnificat. Dear Missionaries and Coordinators,

The greatest thing that ever happened in history, in fact that divides the way we understand history, that is, when God became man in the person of Christ, happened through Mary. Schoenstatt is On November 3, 2015 a successful event took place in Weston, Nebraska. Five wonderful

classes of children and teachers, at the St. John Nepomucene

Parish School, of the Lincoln diocese, gathered to learn about the Mother of God as the

Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt, about her

graces and her Shrine. The priest, Fr. John Vandewalle, also joined us for questions and answers. The

children had very good questions and showed great

    interest.

Richard and I (Leona) bought cloth bags the

night before to put the MTA shrines in. We included

5 Rosaries in each bag plus some information. Father said he would send some information home with the students also. They were very

interested in Deacon John Pozzobon and his story.

We were blessed to have the large Auxiliary Pilgrim MTA shrine, which was on its way from Oregon to

Wisconsin via Nebraska. This gave us the opportunity to

show them the MTA up close. Richard took nice pictures of each class with it.

The children will consecrate themselves to the MTA on

December 9. The children are learning the consecration prayer during their class times in

    school.

Dios

    mediante comenzaremos allá tres a

    cuatro nuevos círculos de la

    Campaña. En noviembre 21 y 22

    estaremos visitando la parroquia St.

Martin de Porres, en Homestead que está

ubicada muy cerca de nuestro Santuario.

on the Move "School of Missionaries"

    Annual Meeting

On Saturday, September 19, the annual

    meeting, "School of Missionaries,” was

held at the Schoenstatt Shrine in

Miami, which resulted in a day

filled with blessings. We had 50

    missionaries of the Pilgrim MTA

    who participated and shared a

    day of prayer, formation and

apostolic zeal. We would like to thank

our advisors, Fr. Marcelo Aravena and Sr.

Miriam López, as well as all who

    participated in this first annual

    meeting, which concluded with

    the consecration ceremony of

    nine new missionaries and the

sending out of all participants. At

the end of a beautiful day, we were

newly commissioned for one more year.

    Pilgrim MTA “Parish missions”

We started our Pilgrim MTA Parish

    Missions, during the month of

    October. We brought the

    Auxiliary Pilgrim MTA to St.

    Thomas Apostle Parish in Miami,

which we visited on the weekend of

October 10 –11. Thanks to the support of

Fr. Matías Hualpa, and the collaboration of

some missionaries who are members of

this parish, there was a good response by

the people, and we could register

more than 30 families who wish

to receive the Pilgrim image in

their homes. There were even a

couple of ladies who would be

willing to be prepared to become

missionaries later next year. God willing

there three to four new MTA circles of

the campaign will begin in this area.

During the weekend of November 21-22

we will be visiting St Martin De Porres

Parrish in Homestead, which is located

    very close to our Shrine.

This was the Marian Parade through the streets of Manhattan, New York. This Parade is sponsored by the Ascension Parish on 107th Street. Float after float carrying different images of the Blessed Mother are seen on the streets. Together with Radio Ma-ria, Catholic New York and a number of other organizations it is broadcast through the East Coast. This is usually done close to the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. This year it was on October 4, 2015.

    Thank you Mary Moore!

Mary died at 3:00 am on Thursday,

November 19. She and I worked very

hard for Schoenstatt between the years

2001 through 2009. She was diagnosed

with brain cancer earlier this year. She

was a wonderful, social, kind, active

Catholic, leader at St. Mary’s parish in

Pendleton, OR. She helped much with

    the Schoenstatt Girls Youth Camps,

too. See her picture with the Auxiliary

MTA. That was in probably May 2015.

Mary falleció a las 3:00 AM el jueves, 19

de noviembre. Ella y yo trabajamos muy

fuerte con Schoenstatt entre los años

    2001-2009. Le diagnosticaron cancer del

cérebro a inicios de este año. Ella era una

    persona maravillosa, sociable, amable,

Santa María, en Pendleton, OR. Ayudó

mucho con los campamentos de las niñas

de Schoenstatt. Se le puede ver aquí jun-

Lord Jesus Christ, you have taught us to be merciful like the heavenly Father, and have told us that whoever sees you sees Him. Show us your face and we will be saved. Your loving gaze freed Zacchaeus and Mat-thew from being enslaved by money; the adulteress and Magdalene from seeking happiness only in created things; made Peter weep after his betrayal, and assured Paradise to the repentant thief. Let us hear, as if addressed to each one of us, the words that you spoke to the Samaritan woman: “If you knew the gift of God!” You are the visible face of the invisible Fa-ther, of the God who manifests his power above all by forgiveness and mercy:

let the Church be your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and glorified. You willed that your ministers would also

be clothed in weakness in order that they may feel com-passion for those in ignorance and error: let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God. Send your Spirit and conse-crate every one of us with its anointing, so that the Jubilee of Mercy may be a year of grace from the Lord, and your Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberty to cap-tives and the oppressed, and restore sight to the blind. We ask this of you, Lord Jesus, through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Mercy; you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE YEAR OF MERCY

In September they had a Rosary walk and on October 18, they crowned the Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother. They have really set out to reconquer Louisiana for the MTA, after long years of many silent, hidden efforts. Now the visit of the Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother seems to have enkindled many hearts for our Queen.

Marie Stebing and her husband, Steve, helped us move the Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother to and from St.

    Joseph’s parish in Sandpoint,

Idaho. There we had a Marian retreat for 77 persons. It was in

    Idaho from September 9-21.

We handed out quite a bit of Schoenstatt literature. On September

    26 seven coordinators

from six different parishes gathered under the glance of the Auxiliary.

On October 23, Jean Kiser, from the St. John the Evangelist Church, led us in praying a Rosary and

    sharing about the Schoenstatt

spirituality. The Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother stayed in the church for

    two days while all other

Schoenstatt members continued to make personal visits to the

    Blessed Sacrament in the

    same chapel where she was.

The Schoenstatt group is very active in the parish and had just finished leading a 9 day novena of rosaries when the Auxiliary Shrine arrived. They felt a big “Thank you” from Mother Mary in this special visit. Many blessings and graces. The Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother was in the Pacific Northwest from January to October, 2015. This special visitation brought more graces than any of us could have imagined. The Blessed Mother visited ten parishes and many home gatherings in Oregon, Washington state and Idaho. Most parishes had at least two visits, with one of the visits being a whole day of welcome prayers, fellowship, and teaching. The biggest honor of welcome was given to her by 180 Hispanic Schoenstatt people at St.Joseph’s parish in Kennewick, WA. This event and adding Idaho to the Rosary Campaign has motivated us to organize Conference for SRC in November, 2016, at Kennewick, Washing-ton Please keep us in prayers! Thank you, Mother Thrice Admirable, for your special visitation. Please come again and stay with us in our own Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother from Brazil!

The Dates of Crowning During the weekend of June 10-12, 2016, the

National Team of State Coordinators are invited to the Schoenstatt Center in Waukesha, for our national annual convention and to crown our Auxiliary Pilgrim Mothers. And, on Saturday, October 22, in each Center, area, or state, each missionary or group of missionaries is invited to crown all the individual Pilgrim Mothers that circulate in the homes, parishes or schools.

The Title of the Queen Conscious of our responsibility to be missionaries in our areas and states, to spread love for her and her Son, and make many people aware of the three graces from the Shrine we want to crown the Auxiliary Pilgrim Mothers and the individual Pilgrim Mothers with the title:

The Throne and the Mission Each altar where we place the Pilgrim Mother in our homes, parishes, schools, nursing homes or places of work is the throne from where the MTA wants to bend down to us as Queen and in her love extend to everyone her three graces from the Shrine. We are her instruments, who make this possible!

The Graces We Will Pray For We will pray that our Queen grants us the grace to be her instruments in leading others into her heart as children: the grace of being at home; to lead others to a greater openness for education of our Mother and Queen: the grace of inner transformation; and to make others aware of their missionary character through a more intentional apostolate with the Pilgrim Mother: the grace of apostolic fruitfulness.

Our Preparation Each Rosary and each apostolic deed is our conscious contribution to her crown.

The Steps on our Path To prepare ourselves for this crowning event, we will travel with Deacon John

Pozzobon from the Tabor Shrine in Santa Maria, Brazil to the International Shrine in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a distance of 5,474 miles. The Rosary will be our transporta-

tion. Every 15 Rosaries prayed, moves John and you 250 miles closer to the Inter-national Shrine.

Many people in the countries of the middle East and Africa, including Syria and Nigeria are suffering because of war and religious persecution, including the USA. We will each choose a country and pray the Rosary for the people there. To keep track of the Rosaries prayed, mark a bead on the first Rosary. When you have marked 15 beads on the first Rosary, you will have traveled 250 miles. Continue on praying the Rosary and marking beads on the Rosaries on the path. When you have traveled the complete 5,475 miles, bring your travel guide to your 2016 crowning event. Then we will be able to see how many total Rosaries were prayed and how many total miles were traveled.

he Crowning Path of the Pilgrim MTA After the centennial celebration of 2014 and all its blessings, nothing

could be more fitting than to crown the Blessed Mother. At the end of our SRC convention in June 2015 the crowning path was opened. It goes from San-ta Maria, Brazil to Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA, spiritually moving across the

different states from West to East: Oregon, Texas, Louisiana; stopping in Flori-da, Ohio, even New York, and ending in Wisconsin.

You bring to us the Savior, his salvation and his graces. For all gifts that you have given us, we sing joyfully your praises.

We entrust to you our efforts, our steps and all we do. Look upon us with your mercy, Queen and Mother, and our model, too.

In this time of preparation for the coming of our Lord, don’t forget to spread your mantle as we

    ponder on your words:

Show me by your deeds that you really, really love me. Then it will please me to dwell with you, and make of your heart a place most worthy.

    Blessed Advent!
