Self-study
[The journal] helps me to understand better what I have learnt in one week and helps me to study better in the next.
I hope we can use the EAS online course in the future.
Materials in the online EAS were very useful and many of them could be prepared for classes or debate.
Maybe I will continue to use some app like EAS and journal to improve my study.
Japanese Stage 1 ACS had found the module really enjoyable. Being immersed in the Japanese language (no English in classroom) had been helpful and Kinue had made scenarios very realistic. JH asked about the amount of time taken up by portfolio tasks. CS and BD reported no problems. The portfolio tasks had been good and varied. The fact that the portfolio was electronic had not presented problems, but had in fact been helpful. It had made it easy to link to self-generated materials, e.g. songs. The whole class had researched interesting materials and added links.
