FIRECAT REAR AXI.E KITSThe flew lirecat chassis was designed from the groundup to be lightweight and nimble. In its fust season itwas put to the ultimate test - RACING.lyhen raced on some of the rougher terrain in Europe,riders often found the sled wanted to jelk out fromunder them when landing iumps. In Norway, toindease the coEfort level of the dder, the installedadditional wheels in the rear axle of the rear suspen-sion. Using a mole haditional set-up of four wheels inthe rear, reports were the vehicle tended to be easier toconhol when landing from a high-flying jump.

The technicians at Black Magic tried this set-up for ourown testing and evaluation and found not all riders willneed the fuIl four-wheel kit (two inner and two outerwheels) and could get by with three (one in the centerof the hack, with two exterior wheels).

Both kits are complete with all whee)s, spacers, hard-ware and inshuctions to facfitate installation.

sleds has been a prcblem sincethe '88 650 Wildcat, due primårilyto the attack angle of the track andits relationship to the ddve axle. It can usually be over-come with some adjustments to the suspension and thetmck tension, but sometimes Big Horsepower simplytakes over.

Our Anti-Ratchet Drive Sprocket absolutely eliminateskack ratchetin& allowing you to opeiate your kackwith much less tensioo which in turn relates to morespeed! These sprockets drive off the involute drive lugsand the track windows as well.SUSPENSION CLEAI{ANCE - A minimum oI1" clear-ance between the Iail tips and the extemal drive teeth isrequired- Suspension positioning on urod sleds must beplanned to allow for this dealance- Stock sleds haveseveml options.
