On 23 June 2016, Mrs. Chanchira Smakthai, Assistant Managing Direc-tor (2nd from the right) and Mr. Vittaya Changeutai, Investor Relation Manager (the right) of BJCHI joined Nomura Corporate Access to present the company’s information to analysts, marketing teams and investors at Capital Nomura Securities PCL. The company also targets 2016 revenue growth by 15% from the prior year after securing back-log of 4,200 million baht. Moreover, the company has still been entered into the bidding process of high potential projects.
The Company held Analyst Meeting on 3 August 2016 at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel. At the event, BJCHI’s representa-tives included Ms. Chanchira Smakthai /Assistant Managing Director, and Mr. Vittaya Changeutai /Investor Relation Manager, and Mr. Suthi Thangsri /Contract Manager, who presented the information on project progress and future business opportunities to over 20 analysts and fund managers. The Company expressed its confidence that the company’s revenue would still grow from 2015 despite the drop in oil prices and global economic slowdown. At the same time, there are some high potential project under the consideration with the value above 10,000 million bahts where the company expected to reach the conclusion in the near future.

The Company continuously recognizes the importance of presenting complete and transparent information to all investors. Therefore, BJCHI participated in the Opportunity Day Activity held by The Stock Exchange of Thailand on a regular basis. On 19 August 2016, Mr. Vittaya Changeutai /Investor Relation Manager, and Mrs. Soison Gaewkhemthong /Accounting Manager, presented the information on the Company’s 2Q 2016 Operating Performance and future outlook to the investors, analysts and the media. According to BJCHI’s represen-tatives, the company expects its 2016 revenue to grow further from the year prior.

In 2Q2016, Contracted Revenue (excluding other incomes) was 1,720.1 million baht, rising of 982.8 million baht or 133.3% from 737.4 million baht in 2Q2015. The increased contract revenue resulted from revenue recognition of TUPI FPSO modules project and QGI FPSO modules project while 2Q2015 there was no revenue recognition of QGI FPSO modules project due to the project suspension in 2Q2015 before resuming again in 1Q2016.

The rise in contracted costs was significantly caused by the increased project activities from the 2nd shipment of TUPI FPSO modules project, the expense from consumable related cost as well as the transition period between TUPI FPSO modules project (01B and 02B) and TUPI FPSO modules project (03B).

SG&A Expenses in 2Q2016 were 71.3 million baht, decreasing of 52.9 million baht or 42.6% from 124.1 million baht in 2Q2015. The decrease in SG&A expenses was largely driven by the cost management policy.

¡ÓäâÑé¹µŒ¹Gross Profits
Net Profits in 2Q2016 were 191.7 million baht, increasing of 11.9 million baht or 6.6% as compared with those in the same period of last year because the company has continuously recognized revenue from TUPI FPSO modules project and the re-start of QGI FPSO modules project. Furthermore, the company recognized the FX gain in 2Q2016 of 14.5 million baht.
