Graduation Requirements
In order to qualify for graduation, all students must:
• Check with their TA for diploma requirements, and confirm name to appear on BCHS Graduation Certificate.
• Be in a position to successfully complete the requirements for the Alberta High School Diploma by May 25, 2020 in order to have your name on the list.
• Settle all school fees.

Graduation Photos
Photo Sittings: April 1—9 , 2020 (garage)
• All graduates are required to have a photo taken for the yearbook and wall display (FREE) even if the student will not be purchasing photos.
• Sittings must be booked in advance through Prestigeprotraits.ca
• Online booking will be available March 2—31, 2020
• No live animals permitted in the school

Friday, April 24, 2020 at 9:15 am to 12:30 pm Bethany Chapel The Bishop Carroll High School Grade 12 Retreat packs a lifetime of stories, experiences and camaraderie into three short hours. Snacks and the comfortable environs of Bethany Chapel’s sanctuary set the stage for two amazing facilitators who will get you thinking, talking, moving and inspired as you look forward to the rest of your life!
All Grade 12 students are required to attend and will meet at school at 9:15 am to walk to Bethany Chapel.

Graduation Ceremony
Friday, June 12, 2020 First Alliance Church 12345 40 Street SE 1:00 pm student line up 1:30 pm procession begins The graduation ceremony is approximately 2.5 hours long, including a processional of faculty and graduates, speeches by visiting dignitaries and the Valedictorian address. Procession begins promptly at 1:30 p.m. Graduates must wear gowns, caps and tassels. All graduates should arrive by 1:00 pm and line up by TA grouping. Ample free parking is available. Photo opportunities should be taken before the ceremony as students will be returning their gowns immediately after processing out of the ceremony. Tickets are required for entry into the graduation ceremony. Students will inform their TAs of their ticket requests by March 10, 2020. All students are guaranteed 4 tickets and may request additional tickets through their TA. Families will be notified beginning March 23 if additional tickets can be awarded.
All gowns must be returned immediately following the ceremony in order for students to receive their BCHS Graduation Certificates.
Graduation Banquet and Dance
Friday, May 29, 2020 BMO Center, Stampede Park 20 Roundup Way SE 6:00 pm doors open 6:30 pm presentation of graduates 7:00 pm dinner 9:00—11:00 pm dance Banquet ticket cost: To be determined Ticket sales start: Monday, April 20, 2020 Ticket sales end: Friday, May 1, 2020 All ticket sales are considered final after Friday, May 1 (no purchasing of tickets or changing of table selection after this date). Please note, all school fees must be paid before banquet tickets can be purchased. Tickets are purchased on-line using the fee payment system at: www.studentquickpay.com/cssd. Table selection along with listing of names of all people at the table (and food allergies) takes place online before your payment is processed. For payment by cash or cheque, you may create a credit on your student account between March 1-April 29 at the Cash Cage. Please note that your account must be at a $0.00 balance prior to creating a credit on your account. A banquet ticket must be purchased for each guest, including the graduate. Seating at the banquet is pre-assigned. Tables seat 8; groups of fewer than 8 will have others seated at their table with them. Tables of 10 may be purchased by phoning the school at (403) 500-2056 once tickets go on sale. Graduation banquet and dance ticket costs are separate and in addition to the Graduation Fee. Students may purchase as many banquet and dance tickets as they wish to pay for. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Official tickets will be handed out to the students by their TA one or two days prior to the Banquet.
Graduation Mass
Friday, June 12, 2020 St. Mary’s Cathedral 219—18 Avenue SE 9:00 am student line up 9:30 am Mass begins Students should arrive at the Cathedral by 9:00 am, wearing their gowns and stolls. Caps are not worn for the mass. We ask everyone to ensure cell phones are off or in silent mode and that there is no photography during the Mass. There will be opportunities for photos both before and after Mass. Due to limited seating at the Cathedral, each student is limited to two guests. Free parking is available at St. Mary’s Cathedral and the FCJ Centre.

• The graduation fee covers the cost of the retreat, rental of gown and stole, graduation souvenir cap & tassel, certificate & folder, printing of programs and facility rental costs.
• Fees are payable online March 1—May 1 at www.studentquickpay.com/cssd
• Payment at the Cash Cage can be made with cash or cheque only.
Family members who are unable to attend the ceremony in person may be able to view a live stream of the ceremony over the Internet (details to be confirmed before June 12).
