Doctor’s Day: Doctor parents spoke to the children on how to be safe and healthy.
Children made a gratitude card for their doctor.
National Paper Bag Day: Children were sensitized regarding reducing, reusing and recy
cling of paper vide ppt and discussion.
Activity- making a newspaper bag .
Kargil Vijay Diwas
A PPT of the Kargil Range was shown along with the pictures of the sol-
diers who fought for our country.
Children danced and recited patriotic songs.
Parents Day
A` Fun Time Quiz’, was conducted for the parents to make their day special.
Children were guided, how to help their mothers in keeping their room /
wardrobe tidy.
World Nature Conservation Day
Children were sensitized by showing a short movie followed by a song .
Children made posters on conservation of water and nature.
Nursery children dressed up as different endangered species and spoke about
the same.
CELEBRATIONS:- SPECIAL EVENTS
National Doctor’s Day – Doctor parents were invited to speak to the children about ‘HEALTH AND HYGIENE.’ Children made cards to felicitate the doctors to show their gratitude towards the COVID WARRIORS.
International Malala Day:- Inspir ing life Malala Yousafzai’s was discussed through power point presentation.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLY:-
Celebrating the essence of ‘FRIENDSHIP’ on the eve of ‘Friendship Day,’ a special assembly was presented by the students of classes II C and II D wherein they came together and expressed love for their dear friends through poem, song and dance.
CLASSES I & II
International Tiger Day:- Children took a pledge to conserve the tigers and also made beautiful tiger masks as a part of the celebration.
International Parents Day: This day was celebrated with great fervour by the children. They made sandwiches for their parents to make this day special for them.
World Nature Conservation Day: Children understood the
importance of Nature Conservation through poster making.
National Paper Bag Day: Children made beautiful paper bags to celebrate this day. The importance of paper and paper bags were also discussed.
Kargil Diwas :- ‘The Operation Vijay’ was discussed followed by a dance performance by our children on patriotic songs to commemorate the victory.

VIRTUAL MORNING ASSEMBLIES:- Wherein children read out and discussed the current affairs and the weather. They also presented the thought for the day and at times also showcased their dance and story narration talent.
CLASS I:-
EAR BUD PAINTING- As an introduction to the Hindi letter to decorate the same using bud painting.
Making of a ‘Hygiene Kit’ for English speaking skill
Making teeth using atta dough
MAKING NUMBER CARDS: For revising NUMBER CONCEPTS
MAKING STICK PUPPETS OF SYMBOLS ( < , > and = ):- For understanding the concept of ‘Comparison of numbers ‘

A creative prelude to understand the scientific phenomenon ‘Why do we have rain,’ curriculum connect to the lesson ‘BARKHA RANI’ (POEM) through ART & CRAFT
ART CONNECT: Drawing a bouquet of flowers in connection to the lesson ‘HAMARI BAGIYA KE PHOOL.
CLASS II:- Life Cycle of a BUTTERFLY:- Integrating the stages with the concept
of Ordinal Numbers.
Art and Craft activity related to Ordinal Numbers.
Experiment - SOLUBLE AND INSOLUBLE substances as a curricu-lum connect to the Hindi lesson ‘GATRU GADHA’
PODCASTS:-
Podcasts were prepared in all subjects
by the teachers and shared with the
students through broadcast every week.
These podcasts were discussed with the
students during the online sessions.
OTHERS:- The virtual elocution class saw the students reciting the poem with great zeal.
PARENT TEACHER INTERACTION FOR CLASSES I and II was scheduled on the 25
th of
July, 2020.
Assemblies:
A special assembly on the 21st anniversary of the Kargil Vijay Diwas was organised by class IV C. The
assembly showcased the valour and courage of the Indian soldiers
Class V C put up a special assembly on Nelson Mandela– the world famous leader who stood up against
apartheid in South Africa.
‘Friendship’ was the topic of the
special assembly of class V D. The
assembly brought forth the value of
friends in our times
Activities:- Inter house Computer Quiz was organized on 31st July’20. Dhaulagiri House was adjudged the winners
followed by Aravalli House and Vindhya House and Nilgiri House, Annapurna House and Kailash
House in the second and third place.
Inter House Skipping Competition took place on 24th and 25th July’20. Dhaulagiri House bagged the
first position , Nilgiri House and Annapurna House came in the second and third position respectively.
Life skill activities like washing of socks ad folding clothes were taken up by the students.
