Narcotics

Narcotics are anesthetic. Generally narcotics can be distinguished into four kinds, those are depressant, stimulant, halluciogen, and dependent narcotics. All subject which can produce the addicted effect to their users.

Example of substance or drugs which are included into narcotics are hashish, morphine, heroin, codeine, and cocaine.

1. Hashish is all part of Canabis sativa, that is included into shrubs.

Used high hashish:• Feel fresh and relaxed• Feel violent• They often laugh alone• Their eyes look redder• Their appetites increase

2. Morphine, Heroin, Codeine

Morphine, Heroin, Codeine are narcotics made of opium plant that has a sciantific name of Papaver somniferum.

Morphine is a product of the raw opium which is bitter, finely white powder or colored liquid in the form.

The symptons experienced by the heroin addicts are as follows:

• Feel comfort abnormally• They are uncouth and do not care to

another• Feel strongly sleepy• Their bodies emaciated

3. Cocaine

Cocain is one of every harmful narcotics. Cocaine is obtained from leaf of Erythroxylum coca plant, it comes from South America region.

Effects short times for used it:• Feel fresh• They over happy• Do not feel any pain and weak• Blood preassure increased

Effect long times:• Their body are tired, weak and

hopeless• Their weight decrease• Nervous and got insomnia

Psychotropics Psychotropics are a kind of narcotics which are synthetic substance or engeineering product made by arranging the chemical structure of a certain subject.

Basically, these psychotropics also some have properties of stimulant and depressant.

Stimulant1. AmphetamineShort effect used amfetamine • Do not feel sleepy• Caused excessive happiness • Talking much• Nausea and vomit

2. Methamphetamine Effect methamphetamine same

as amphetamine.

Depressant1. Barbiturat

Caused retardation and weakening of his nervous system.

2. Benzodiazepine

3. MethaqualoneFor tranquilizer and to lessen

pain.
