Meiosis Foldable

Create an accordion style foldable to help you understand the steps involved in Meiosis (use your textbook, I-pad, laptop, or other source as prescribed by your teacher).

1) Construct an accordion book. a. Obtain 5 half sheets of paper. b. Fold each of the half sheets of paper in half from top to bottom. c. Turn the papers horizontally. Tape the open ends of the pieces together to make an

accordion booklet. See my example on the front table for help 2) Label the front page: Phases of Meiosis3) Put your name and class period on the back page. 4) Number and label the pages from 1-10 starting with the front

inside left hand page. Use the chart on the right to help you label each page.

a. This means that the front and back pages will not be numbered.

b. Create something unique for pg. 10 of the booklet. 5) Summarize the events of each stage of Meiosis. Your

summary should also include a picture of what the cell looks like during that stage. You will have to draw Interphase for yourself. Use pictures below for all other stages.
