CLEANED FOR BOND.

LOCATION OF ALL CONSTRUCTION JOINTS SHALL BE AS SHOWN ON THE

DRAWINGS OR APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. ALL CONSTRUCTION JOINTS

LOCATED ON THE DRAWINGS OR REQUIRED FOR CONSTRUCTION, BUT NOT

SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS, SHALL HAVE A 6" FLATSTRIP WATERSTOP, IF

IN CONTACT WITH WATER. IN ADDITION, JOINTS IN ALL SLABS COVERED

LINES, REINFORCEMENT SHALL BE CUT-OFF FLUSH WITH THE

CONCRETE SURFACE AT THE REMOVAL LINE.

WHERE THE CONCRETE SURFACE AT THE REMOVAL LINE IS THE

FINISHED SURFACE, THE REINFORCEMENT SHALL BE CUT BACK

2-INCHES BELOW THE FINISHED CONCRETE SURFACE, THE ENDS

PAINTED WITH EPOXY PAINT AND THE REMAINING HOLES PATCHED

WITH A CEMENT MORTAR GROUT.

THE EXISTING BIOFILTER HAS A SINGLE DIGITAL I/O POINT FOR

"ALARM" TO THE RIO CABINET. THIS POINT AND WIRING SHALL BE

REMOVED. THE BIOFILTER PROVIDED UNDER THIS CONTRACT

WILL COMMUNICATE OVER FIBER. THE FIBER SHALL BE PROVIDED

AND CONNECTED TO A PATCH PANEL WITHIN THE RIO CABINET.

(FROM THE RIO CABINET TO THE MASTER PLC-5 THERE ARE

2 SETS OF SPARE FIBER TO COMPLETE THE FIBER PATH. THE

CONTRACTOR SHALL TERMINATE THE SPARE FIBER.) SEE SPEC

409520 FOR I/O CONFIGURATION REQUIREMENTS ON THE FIBER

CONNECTION.

CONDUIT AND WIRE FROM BIOFILTER CONTROL PANEL TO IT'S

FIELD COMPONENTS ARE NOT SHOWN, BUT SHALL BE

PROVIDED PER CONDUIT DEVELOPMENT. SEE PROCESS "M"

DRAWINGS FOR EQUIPMENT LOCATIONS.

SEE APPENDIX RECORD DRAWINGS FOR SITE LOCATION OF

" OLD PLANT ELECTRICAL BUILDING."

EQUIPMENT SHALL BE REMOVED.

THE LOCATION OF EXISTING PLANT GROUND RING IS UNKNOWN.

PROVIDE A GROUND ROD WITH #4 GROUND WIRE TO BIOFILTER

CONTROL PANEL. THE EQUIPMENT GROUND (WHICH RUNS FROM

MCC-3 TO THIS PANEL) SHALL ALSO BE BONDED TO THIS

CONNECTION VIA THE GROUND BAR LOCATED WITHIN THE PANEL

TO ENSURE EQUAL POTENTIAL. IF THE EXISTING GROUND RING IS

UNCOVERED DURING CONSTRUCTION, ALSO INTERCONNECT TO IT.

REMOVE EXISTING POWER WIRING AND INSTALL NEW POWER

CONDUCTOR TO MCC-3 FROM THE OC-LCP AS SHOWN.

SIZE JUNCTION BOX TO ALLOW MINIMUM BEND RADIUS OF FIBER
