Biodynamic land management is a form of organic farming and gardening which takes account of the forces involved in the proc-esses of growth including the influences of the stars and planets. In addition it uses a modern, highly scientific practice of compost enhancers, spray preparations and a managed recognition of that each land holding should be looked at holistically to ensure the vitality and health of what is produced.

These courses are led by leading BD practi-tioners in the U.K. notably Michael Bate (until August 2012 Head Gardener at Weleda U.K.) and Peter van Vliet, teacher on the BDAA apprentice training Plant Block Course and Margaret Colquhoun.

Biodynamic Compost making & compost preparation plants Two week-ends with Michael Bate and Margaret Colquhoun

Apr 27th/28th & Jun 29th/30th The compost making process with a special focus on the preparation plants, the healing properties , their sheaths and what they bring to growth processes with an in depth study of these plant catalysts. Learn how to make a biodynamic compost heap from theory to practice with the special plant prepa-rations suggested by Rudolf Steiner.

Biodynamics & the Rhythms of Nature Aug 17th /18th An introduction to biodynamics - plants, planets and spray preparations. A chance to learn about Biodynamics and experience its practical applica-tions. With Michael Bate and Margaret Colquhoun
