1. Tell me about yourself!

I was graduated from Nursing Academy of Politeknik Kesehatan

Banjarmasin. Actually, I don’t have much experience because not long after

graduating I immediately begin working in Banjarbaru Health center for 1

year. But, in my last workplace, I have the best skill in dressing wounds. And

also now I’m following the training for dressing wounds. Besides, I like

working so much, and I am always eager to learn new methods and

procedures.

2. What experience do you have in this field?

I have 1 year working experience in Banjarbaru Health Center as a nurse.

3. What do you know about this organization?

I know that Ratu Zalecha Hospital is a general hospital in Martapura. This

hospital has B accreditation and included hospital Type-B. And also, this

hospital has some facilities such as outpatient department, inpatient

department, and supporting services like Hemodialysis, Radiology,

Installation of Emergency, Installation of Medical Records and many more.

4. Why do you want to work for this organization?

I want to work for this organization because I want to apply my knowledge

and my skill in this hospital. And also because of some rooms in this hospital

such as Surgical Room and Pulmonary Room needs a nurse who has skill like

mine, so I really want to work in this organization.

5. Explain how you would be an asset to this organization?

I think with my abilities, my skills, and my knowledge I can make

improvement techniques that save money and increase productivity for this

hospital.

6. Why should we hire you?

The hospital should hire me because I’m a hard worker, competent, discipline,

meticulous, and patient.

7. Why do you want this position?

I want this position because I think in this position my abilities and my skills

can be channelled.

8. Are you applying for other jobs?

No, I am not.

9. What motivates you to do your best on the job?

My motivates are I want to make my parents happy and I want my skills to be

useful for other people.

10. Do your skills match this job or another job more closely?

Yes, I think my skills really match for this job.

11. What kind of salary do you need?

I think that’s a tough question. Because I think it depends on the detail of the

job. And also, the decision is up to you, as long as it doesn’t harm me and the

hospital. So, could you tell me the range for this position?

Yes, I am a team player

13. What kind of person would you refuse to work with?

There is no person’s character that I don’t want to work with. I can work with

everyone.

14. Tell me about a problem you had with a supervisor!

I had no problem with the last supervisor which I work with.

15. What is your greatest strength?

I think my greatest strength are my ability to prioritise, my problem-solving

skills, my ability to work under pressure, my ability to focus on projects, my

professional expertise, my leadership skills, my positive attitude.

16. What is your greatest weakness?

I think my greatest weakness are I tend to expect others to work as hard as I

do and also I’m a bit of petulant and easily annoyed. But, whenever I have

those feelings, then I try to calm myself and my fury. So that, it doesn’t offend

my job

17. Tell me about your dream job!

I think my dreams job are a job where I love the work, and the people can

contribute and can’t wait to get to work.

18. What has disappointed you about a job?

I think the job which is not enough of a challenge has really disappointed me.

19. What qualities do you look for in a boss?

I think I look for a boss who knowledgeable, has a sense of humor, fair, loyal

to subordinates and holder of high standards.

20. Tell me about your ability to work under pressure!

I think when I work under pressure, I should face it calmly, not emosional and

always be professional where I have to be able to separate between my

personal problem and my job .

21. Why do you think you would do well at this job?

I think I would do well at this job because I’m a hard worker, competent,

discipline, meticulous, and patient. Then, I like this job because I think in this

position my abilities and my skills can be channelled.

22. What is more important to you: the money or the work?

I think, eventhough the money is always important, but the work is the most

important for me.

23. Are you willing to work overtime? Nights? Weekends?

Yes, I am. I’m willing to work overtime, nights and weekends if it’s needed.

24. Would you be willing to relocate if required?

Of course, I would. I think, I have no problem with that.

25. What have you learned from mistakes on the job?

Because I’m a bit of petulant and easily annoyed, sometimes it can affect my

mood when I have to meet or talk with the patients. But, whenever I have

those feelings, then I try to calm my fury. So that, it doesn’t offend my job.

26. Do you think you are overqualified for this position?

Yes, I think so. Because, besides I was the best graduates of health institution

in Nursing Academy of Politeknik Kesehatan Banjarmasin, I’m also

competent in this field.

27. How do you propose to compensate for your lack of experience?

I think I should participate in the trainings and seminars which associated with

the job to compensate for my lack of experience.

28. What position do you prefer on a team working on a project?

Actually, I prefer to be a team leader on a team working.

29. What is the toughest problem you’ve had to face, and how did you

overcome it?

The thoughest problem I’ve had to face is when I met the arrogant patient and

he refused all the nursing actions, because he didn’t believe in my ability. So,

to overcome it, I gave him the explanation about the purpose of the actions

which were given and the risks if the actions were not given to him.

3) What do you enjoy most about working here?
