IMPORTANT NOTICE:

THE VENUE OF THE TRAINING AND COMPETITION HALL HAS CHANGED! TRAINING IS IN THE “CENTER” GYMNASTICS HALL AND COMPETITION IS IN “LUKNA” SPORTS HALL.

BOTH HALLS ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM HOTEL OREL AND HOTEL PIRAMIDA, CLOSE TO THE TOWN PARK AND FOOTBALL STADIUM. LESS THAN 5-MINUTE WALK BETWEEN THE HALLS.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

At the time of arrival, every delegation will receive a welcome pack with all the information and accreditation passes, which will allow entry into the training/competition hall. The accreditation is personal and non-transferable and must be used at all times. In case of losing it, immediately contact the Head of Competition.Each participant must hold a valid insurance policy. In case of any medical expenses, every federation is responsible for all costs.

All the necessary information - TRANSPORTATION, TRAINING TIMES, START LIST and LIST OF FINALISTS etc. will be clearly displayed at the hotels and will also be available at the INFO point in the competition hall.

Prize money will be awarded on Saturday and Sunday immediately after the finals. It is necessary for tax purposes to take a copy of passports of all the finalists, so please bring them to the INFO desk during the Saturday or Sunday morning training.All the accommodation must be paid in full at the Technical meeting on Thursday evening.

3. ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS

All delegations are staying in one of the official hotels - Hotel Orel, Hotel Piramida, Hotel Habakuk or Hotel Bellevue – where they also have all their meals.

Meals can be taken according to the restaurant opening times in the respective hotels.

On Sunday evening there will be no dinner in the hotels as all the delegations are invited to the farewell dinner, which will be held in the competition arena of the sports hall Lukna.

There will be refreshments available in the warm up and competition halls for gymnasts and coaches. Judges will be able to get coffee and warm refreshments in the meeting room of the sports hall.

4. TRANSPORTATION

Hotel Orel and hotel Piramida are within a walking distance from the training hall Center and competition hall Lukna. Transportation from the hotel Habakuk will be provided according to the enclosed schedule. Journey lasts approximately 10 minutes.

There is less than a five-minute walk from training hall Center to competition hall Lukna. At the time of qualifications and finals there will be a continuous shuttle service between the competition hall bus stop and the training hall. The shuttle service lasts 2 minutes.

Judges will have organised transportation from the hotels an hour prior to the start of the competition.

There will be organised transportation from Hotel Habakuk for the technical meeting and to the visit of the Vinag wine cellar.

Please check your departure times with the organisers at the Technical meeting on Thursday evening.

6. TRAINING AND COMPETITION TIMETABLE

General training times are published in previous section. Detailed training plan is enclosed for your information. Please respect that only the finalists can use the Lukna competition hall on Saturday and Sunday morning. All the other gymnasts are welcome to use the Center training hall.

Competition will be run according to the FIG World Cup series 2009 rules and the FIG technical regulations. All gymnasts have to start in qualifications. During the qualifications, the gymnasts will have a 2-minute warm-up in groups of 4.

Assistants at the judging tables will time the warm up. Each gymnast is entitled to 30 seconds of warm up, apart from parallel bars and uneven bars, where the time has been extended to 50 seconds.

There will be a separate warm up hall available in the CENTER GYMNASTICS HALL, which is only 1-minute drive or 5-minute walk from the competition hall. All gymnasts and their coaches will be transferred by mini-bus to the competition hall, so please pay attention to the helpers in the warm up hall in order to avoid any unnecessary waiting.

There will be a separate waiting warm-up area in the competition hall Lukna, where the gymnasts will be able to stretch whilst they are waiting for their group rotation.

In the finals, several mini-buses will take all 8 finalists and their coaches at the same time. They will have 4 minute warm up in the competition arena.

The best 8 gymnasts from qualifications compete in the finals. The hostess will take every gymnast individually to the apparatus and after the exercise to the kiss and cry area.

The medal ceremony follows immediately after the last gymnast receives his/her score. Only the top 3 gymnasts will attend the awarding ceremony.

Each gymnast is required to wear a number at all times. Gymnasts have to participate at the awarding ceremony in their competition outfit.

PLEASE TAKE THE SIGNED LIST TO THE INFORMATION POINT IN THE COMPETITION HALL, INDICATING ANY CHANGES IN YOUR DELEGATION, BY 18.00 DURING THE THURSDAY OFFICIAL TRAINING.

NO ADDITIONAL CHANGES WILL BE POSSIBLE AFTER 18.00 ON THURSDAY EVENING.
