• Very diverse, not just English settlers and Indians fighting for land.

• There is hardly any land left, just buildings.

• Instead of ships, people use cars to get around.

• You can marry whoever you want, and she didn’t have that privilege.

Revolutionary and Constitutional Period; George Mason

o There is a college named after him.

o Proud that people are still living by the ideas of the Declaration of Independence and how much they’ve added to the Constitution.

o Shocked almost everyone gets along with each other.

Proud there are no slaves, and maids/butlers get paid.

He would be disappointed that there is still racism, but not as much as during the Civil War.

Happy with the diversity of the school. He would love how Mr. Percoco wrote a book

about him.

He would be mad that slavery was abolished and the Confederacy was nonexistent.

He would disapprove of the 14th Amendment because it gave equal rights to former slaves.

He would be surprised that African Americans get equal education.

He would be in favor of the war in Iraq.

Einstein Proud of how far we’ve come in the math and science fields.

He would Want to help educate the schools.

Even though he did not have the best grades when he was in school, he would not respect slackers.

since he began the first effective draft in the early 1900s, he would support the troops.

Wilson went to UVA for one year, and he would like to see how much it has changed.

• They would try to gain total control of everything and everyone.

She would be glad to see there is no segregation or discrimination in schools, jobs, or buses.

She would laugh because now teenagers are fighting for the back of the bus. Most bus riders think that’s the best place to sit.
