CERTIFIED QUALITY EDUCATION

ULACIT was considered the best private university in Central America in the 2011-2012 QS World University Rankings and ranked #31 in preference among employers in the entire Latin American region. In 2010,

it was considered one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America by the regional journal “Estrategia y Negocios,” in its 130th edition. SERVICE LEARNING

Service Learning is an educational approach that is commonly used at ULACIT, where students “learn by doing” through service, which means that students implement projects to help those in need. There are many causes, from environmental preservation, to the attention of underserved populations. Business students offer various services to the community, such as small business consulting in the fields of accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and technology management.

INQUIRY-BASED INSTRUCTION

ULACIT seeks to contribute to the advancement, creation, and dissemination of knowledge through research and innovation in science, technology, and other disciplinary fields, which is why, at the end of each school term, students are invited to participate in a Student Research Conference,

where they can present their research findings to the public. The best research papers are also published in ULACIT’s magazine “Rhombus”.
