Tender document along with terms and conditions can be obtained by the prospective tenderer on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) through demand draft only in favour of ‘’Registrar, Bilaspur University Bilaspur” payable at Bilaspur. Terms and Conditions:
Copy of Terms and condition for supply of Kitchen Equipments, Restaurant Equipment,
Machineries, Miscellaneous and Furniture’s required for Hotel Management labs in
Bilaspur University, Bilaspur.
1. Tenders should be sent to Bilaspur University, Bilaspur old high court building, Near Gandhi Chowk, Bilaspur (C.G.) through Registered post/Speed post/Currier only. Tenders if sent by any other means shall not be accepted.
2. Tender document along with terms and condition can be obtained by the
prospective tenderer on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) through
demand draft only in favour of ‘’Registrar, Bilaspur University” payable at
Bilaspur. It can be downloaded from our website i.e.
“www.bilaspuruniversity.ac.in”. The Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five
hundred only) as tender document fee must be submitted with downloaded
tender document of Kitchen Equipments, Restaurant Equipment, Machineries,
Miscellaneous items and Furniture’s.
3. The total estimated cost of the Kitchen Equipments, Restaurant Equipment,
Machineries and Miscellaneous items will be 5 lacs and the Earnest Money for
this will be Rs. 15000/- (Rs Fifteen Thousand only) And for Furniture’s 15 lacs
and the Earnest Rs. 45000/- (Forty Five Thousand only). The EMD of
unsuccessful bidders will be returned within 15 days of finalisation of tender.
The EMD of successful bidder will be returned after submission performance
bank gurantee of order value.
4. The tender is liable to be rejected if not submitted as per the following
condition without asking any further clarification.
5. The store part of the tender contains two stage bidding: Technical and
Commercial bids.

6. Separate tender documents should be submitted for technical bidding (only the
technical specification) and commercial bidding and the sealed tender should
be clearly marked as technical bid and commercial bid on the top of the
envelope, for each part of the tender. The envelope should be marked the part
number for which it mean.
7. Commercial bids of those tenders, which are found technically suitable, will only be opened and considered for the items technically approved.
Commercial bid opening dates will be finalized after opening of technical bids and shall be informed to the technically approved tenderers separately.
8. The tender (Technical Bid) will be opened as per the date and time given above
in the presence of such tenderers or their representatives who are desirous to
be present.
9. Tender received after due date and time will not be entertained.
10. The Tender form is non transferable.
11. Tender should be submitted in Duplicate. They should be tagged separately
and marked as original and duplicate.
12. Item no. and page no. of the tender form should be strictly in chronological
order.
13. Make, name of the manufacturer with complete address should be mentioned
against each item.
14. Printed condition on the back of the tender will not be binding unless
separately mentioned Copies of the terms and condition should be furnished
in duplicate.
15. The tenderer must furnish complete and detailed specification supported by
printed literature of the offered. Incomplete specification/absence of printed
literature support will result in the rejection of the tender.
16. The tenderer must be Government registered and must provide past 3 years
annual turnover of the firm.
17. The rate should be FOR destination including excise and PFFI. Nothing extra
will be paid in such case except the VAT/CST on the cost of Kitchen
Equipments, Restaurant Equipment, Machineries, Miscellaneous items and
Furniture’s.
18. If rate are quoted ex-go down/ex-factory then Excise duty, and PFFI charge
should be clearly indicated for proper rate compatibility/ comparability.
19. Taxes, if viable extra, should be clearly indicated failing which the rate quoted
in the tender will be considered as inclusive of all taxes.
20. The supplier will have to get the ordered items delivered in the institution and
only after successfully installation the payment will be made.
21. There should be no alterations/correction made in the quotation. Quotation
should always be in figures and words.

22. Technical Bids will be opened on 29-11-2014 at 4.00 PM at Registrar Office,
Bilaspur University, Bilaspur.
23. Performance Guarantee in case of Kitchen Equipments, Restaurant Equipments,
Machineries items and Furniture: Performance Security for an amount of 5% of the order value may be furnished in the form of an Account Payee Demand Draft, Fixed Deposit Receipt from a commercial bank or Bank Guarantee from a commercial bank in an acceptable form by the successful bidder. Performance Guarantee is to be furnished within 21 days after notification of the award and it should remain valid for a period of 60 days beyond the date of completion of all contractual obligations of the firm, including warranty obligations.
24. No commitment to accept lowest or any bid: University shall be under no
obligation to accept the lowest or any other offer received in response to this
tender notice and shall be entitled to reject any or all offers including those
received late or incomplete offers without assigning any reason what so ever.
University reserves the right to make any changes in the terms and conditions
of the bid. University will not be obliged to meet and have discussion with any
firm, and or to listen to any representations.
25. Short listing of Firms: University will create a shortlist technically qualifying
firms and the financial bid of only these firms will be opened. University
reserves the right to decide whether the items being quoted are as per the
requirement of the University and are of standard / leading brands in the
market. University reserved the right to decide which offer best suits the
requirement of the university. Further, after opening financial bids of the short
listed tenders, if there is a discrepancy between word and figure, the amount
indicated in words will prevail.
26. Warranty: The firm shall provide comprehensive on-site warranty for the
instruments/equipments supplied against the work order for a minimum
period of 1 year from the date of installation of the instruments.
27. Delivery period: The complete deliveries and installations should be made
within 06 -08 weeks from date of issue of order.
28. Resolution of disputes: All disputes are subjected to Bilaspur (C.G.)
Jurisdiction only and in case of any dispute, decision of Vice Chancellor
Bilaspur University will be final.
29. The firm should adhere with all seriousness to the time schedule provided by
the University. The Liquidated Damage will be applicable at the rate 0.5% per
week. The purchaser has the right to cancel the purchase order when LD
accumulated to 10%.
30. The quantity indicated is tentative. University reserves the right to increase or
decrease the quantity or delete some or all of items depending on the needs
of the University without assigning any reasons.

31. The bids will be opened on due date and time indicated in presence of the
bidders if any present on the occasion, if the date of the opening is declared
holiday the bids will be opened on next working day.
32. University reserved the rights of accepting in full or part / not accepting the
tenders without assigning any reason.
33. Any addition / deletion / modification of this tender made before the due date
of the tender will be displayed in University website only.
