Through literature review, some useful AI-based techniques for Hetnets has been explored. AI-based techniques can handle large scale complex systems. For robust, automatic-ability, proactive, fault tolerant-cellular networks, implementation of AI-
based techniques might play important role. Using AI-based SON features, the mobile service performance of Hetnets might significantly
increase. Big Data is the key enabler for AI-based SON features.
