These are the qualities of Due, a classical contemporary upholstered program with strong communicative abilities and offering a perfect comfort. Due is suitable for classical furnishings as well as for the most rigorous ones. Structure of the base in solid fir-wood with spring suspension in elastic belts. The panels forming the backs and the arms are in wooden conglomerate. Upholstery in high resilience expanded polyethere with different thickness and wrapped with acrylic fibre. The coverings are completely removable.

L’Oscar. Elegant, smooth, sober line. This system comprises elements that can be used also as single items. Once joined together, they allow to get several shapes. Linear and angle compositions, with the possibility to create also seats to lie down and relax. Oscar satisfies even the most various wishes in a simple and personal way. Backs in big and soft cushions of down, covered with woolen knittings. Bearing frame of fir-wood. Upholstery in soft, high resilience polyurethan foam with different thickness and wrapped with acrylic fibre. Spring suspension on elastic belts. The coverings are completely removable. When creating the designer is guided by the pleasure for the formal elegance, but the function must meet -in every way and under every aspect -the exigences and the needs of the users. So the conception of Oscar was to get a sofa offering the formal pleasure together with the maximum comfort: two elements that the right covers can change into luxury.

L’Oscar. Linea elegante, morbida e sobria. Un sistema composto da elementi utilizzabili anche singolarmente che una volta uniti fra loro consentono di ottenere numerose configurazioni finali. Composizioni lineari, ad angolo, con la possibilità di creare anche zone per la seduta distesa allungata per il relax. Con Oscar anche i desideri più complessi si esaudiscono in modo semplice e personale. Cuscini grandi e morbidi, in piuma d’oca, a far da schienale, rivestiti in maglie di lana esclusivi come un maglione. Struttura portante in legno di abete. Morbida schiuma poliuretanica ad alta resilienza realizzata con quote differenziate. Fasciato con falda di fibra acrilica che molleggia su nastri elastici. I rivestimenti sono completamente sfoderabili. Il lavoro del progettista nella creazione guidato dal compiacimento per l’eleganza formale, ma la funzione deve assolvere in ogni maniera e sotto ogni aspetto alle necessità e ai bisogni di chi ne fruisce. Così per Oscar l’ideazione è stata quella di ottenere da un divano il piacere formale sposato al massimo comfort. Due elementi che i rivestimenti giusti possono trasformare in lusso.

Teodoro. Stile o, meglio, atmosfera classica evocata dalle linee soft di undesign moderno ma ricco di valori tradizionali: la ricercatezza dei particolari, i rivestimenti pregiati.Un’armonia determinata da tanti dettagli. Una nota quella giusta, quella chedà tono ad un’intera partitura.Originale l’accostamento dei tessuti di rivestimento, in tinta unita o fantasia, coordinati con la balza perimetrale.

Serie di divani con struttura in metallo schiumata a freddo in poliuretanoespanso. Cuscini di seduta e schienale imbottiti in piuma. Il rivestimento fisso, sotto l’abito, in tessuto di cotone bianco di elevata qualità, tale da consentire l’uso del divano stesso senza la fodera, che diventacosì optional. La fodera confezionata libera: sia per la struttura che per i cuscini l’abito tagliato secondo una foggia a cap-puccio. Grazie a questi accorgimenti la sfoderabilità di Teodoro agevole, la sua rifo-deratura del tutto semplice.

Inconfondibilmente di carattere, ma con la giusta nota di dolcezza, per una seduta sempre morbida e confortevole. La struttura portante del divano è in acciaio, con piedini cromati regolabili. La pannellatura di schienali e braccioli è in multistrato integrato con poliuretano schiumato a freddo. Imbottitura in piuma d’oca per i soffici cuscini. Vastissimo il ventaglio di colori e fantasie per i tessuti, con ampia concessione alle più estrose interpretazioni. Calati liberi e quindi non aderenti alla struttura, i rivestimenti in puro lino e cotone sono tutti facilmente sfoderabili. Egregio è proposto in diverse varianti e dimensioni.

PALIO and his clothesOrlandini design

The project of Palio is the concept of "dress" the sofa body in new ways and original,the idea to capture an image of origami and then to design the coating by subsequentfolding and not only with traditional seams. In this design the fabric covering is stron-gly released from the supporting structure and the internal padding, so that the sofaPalio can be unlined with extreme simplicity and rapidity. The natural developmet ofthe project was therefore to differentiate his finishes, materials and coating the exter-nal image and create a collection of interchangeable outfits with the seasons.SPRING The appearance of a fresh coat colorful blown by the wind is perfectly suitedto the season, and the cover is finished and embellished with a special stitch sewing.SUMMER The sofa is envelope and the dress, reduced to a minimum, not merely maskthe bare minimum. Palio summer turns into a ultralight version with a visible and su-spended seat.FALL The season is colder and the tissue consequently extends far enough to cover, inpart, the legs of the sofa. The dress becomes a kind of poncho.WINTER Like a warm winter jacket mountain coating, quilted, lightly padded and com-fortable sofa transforms into a reassuring place.Steel bearing frame.The back and the armrests are in stratified multilayer plywoodupholstered with soft high resilience polyurethanic rubber with differentiated thick-ness. Alla base del progetto Palio c’è il concetto di “vestire” il corpo del divano in manierainedita ed originale, da qui l’idea di riprendere l’immagine dell’origami e quindi diconcepire il rivestimento tramite piegature successive e non soltanto con le tradizio-nali cuciture. In quest’ottica progettuale il rivestimento tessile si è fortemente svinco-lato dalla struttura portante e dalle imbottiture interne, tanto che il divano Palio puòessere sfoderato con estrema semplicità e rapidità. L’evoluzione naturale del progettoera quindi di differenziare nelle finiture, nei materiali e nell’immagine il rivestimentoesterno e creare una collezione di abiti intercambiabili in base alle stagioni.

PRIMAVERA L’aspetto di un fresco mantello variopinto gonfiato dal vento si addiceperfettamente alla mite stagione di mezzo; la fodera è rifinita ed impreziosita con cu-citura punto a cavallo.ESTATE Il divano si scopre e l’abito, ridotto al minimo, si limita a nascondere lo strettoindispensabile. Palio estate si rivela in una versione ultralight con struttura a vista e se-duta sospesa.AUTUNNO La stagione si fa più fredda e il tessuto di conseguenza si allunga quantobasta per coprire, in parte, le gambe del divano. Il vestito diventa una sorta di poncho.INVERNO Come un caldo piumino da montagna il rivestimento invernale, trapuntato,lievemente imbottito ed accogliente trasforma il divano in un luogo rassicurante.

Struttura portante in acciaio, lo schienale ed i braccioli sono stratificati di compensatomultistrato, imbottiti con morbida gomma poliuretanica ad alta resilienza realizzatacon quote differenziate con fasciatura di fibra acrilica. La seduta molleggia su nastrielastici. La base di supporto perimetrale è in tubo di acciaio cromato lucido.

La nuova collezione di imbottiti “Garden”, grazie ad undesign forte ed immediato manifesta subito le proprie diver-sità dagli imbottiti tradizionali… Una nuova concezione di divano sia dal punto di vista fun-zionale che da quello estetico. Il sistema è caratterizzato da elementi composti da due partiben distinte: un corpo base imbottito ed esteticamente neu-tro e una soffice trapunta a contrasto in luogo dei tradizio-nali cuscini; quest’ultima, realizzata con tessuti di pregio ericcamente decorata, costituisce il vero “volto” del divano eall’occorrenza può essere sostituita senza dover sfoderare ilcorpo base. In questo modo risulta estremamente agevolesia lavare la parte che più è soggetta allo sporco sia anchesolo cambiare la finitura del salotto. La struttura portante è in legno di abete, con morbidagomma poliuretanica ad alta resilienza realizzata con quotedifferenziate, fasciata con falda di fibra acrilica che molleg-gia su nastri elastici. La trapunta è imbottita con piumad’oca di prima qualità ed è fissata perimetralmente sullastruttura a mezzo nastri a strappo “velcro”. Il primo puntodi forza è la decorazione dei rivestimenti, non più il temaripetuto “a rullo” delle solite fantasie, ma quattro disegnistampati inediti dal carattere molto forte; Palme, FicusBenjamin, Folaghe e Rami, quattro elaborazioni grafiche chetrasformano e trasfigurano altrettante fotografie originali atema naturalistico; una reinterpretazione in chiave industria-le degli arazzi classici. Il posizionamento stesso dei temidecorativi sulle diverse misure delle trapunte risulta impreve-dibile e quasi casuale, questo fa si che non esista un divanouguale all’altro, ogni pezzo diventa unico e irripetibile frut-to di un approccio artigianale che si è ormai perduto. Ilsecondo aspetto saliente è rappresentato dalla grande flessi-bilità compositiva: ventidue elementi costituiscono il riccoabaco che consente di adattarsi alle più svariate tipologie diambiente, soddisfacendo ogni esigenza di arredamento, conbracciolo alto simmetrico “quadro” oppure basso inclinato“triangolo” ed una base perimetrale in tubo d’acciaio cro-mato lucido. Infine le finiture dei rivestimenti: sia i tessuti che le stampesono disponibili in diverse soluzioni cromatiche cha vannodai contrasti forti del bianco e nero a combinazioni più soft come rosso e marrone o al più ardito verde e turchese. Tutti questi fattori concorrono alla realizzazione di un siste-ma che fugge dalle omologazioni imposte dalla produzioneindustriale in favore di una flessibilità estetica e compositivapiù tipiche di un prodotto di alto livello creato “su misura”un esempio di un approccio progettuale che noi chiamiamo“personalizzazione industriale”.

The new collection of upholstered items “Garden”, thanksto a strong and immediate design, shows at once its diffe-rence from the traditional ones...a new concept of sofa both functionally and aesthetically. Elements consisting of twoquite distinct parts characterize the system: a basic andaesthetically neutral upholstered unit and a soft contrasting eiderdown instead of the traditional cushions; this eider-down, realized with precious and highly decorated fabrics, isthe real “look”of the sofa. If necessary, it can be replaced without removing the cover of the basic unit. In this way it isvery simple to wash the cover that gets dirty easily and evento change the look of the sitting room. The bearing frame is in pinewood; the upholstering is inhigh resilience soft polyuretanic rubber with differentiatedthickness and wrapping in acrylic fibre lap; the seat springs on elastic belts. The eiderdown is upholstered with highquality goose feather and fixed to the frame all around bymeans of polymeric bands “velcro” The first main point isthe decoration of the covers: no more the usual patternedfabrics with the same repeated subject, but four new prin-ted drawings with a very strong peculiarity. Palms, Ficus benjamin, Coots and Branches, four graphic pro-cessings that transform and transfigure the original photoswith naturalist theme; a new interpretation from an indu-strial viewpoint of the classic tapestries. So the positioning of the decorative subjects on the eider-downs in the different sizes becomes unforeseeable andalmost random: in this way each sofa is different from the other ones and each piece is unique and unrepeatable, asthe result of an artisan approach already lost. The secondimportant peculiarity is the wide flexibility of assembling: twenty-two elements form the rich abacus that enables tosuit the most different habitat tipologies matching with anyfurnishing need: with high linear “square” armrest or low inclined “triangular” one and a perimetral base in polishedchromium-plated steel tube. Finally the covers: both the fabrics and the patterns are avai-lable in various chromatic solutions; from strong contrastslike white and black to softer combinations as red and brown or to the more daring one: green and turquoise. All these elements contribute to the achievement of asystem that avoids the homologations imposed by an indu-strial production in favour of an aesthetical and assemblingflexibility that are peculiar of a high-level product made tomeasure... an example of a planning approach that we call“industrial personalization”.

Iperkubik. Il divano più ipercubico che si possa immaginare, nasce da un’idea che forse tutti abbiamo almeno una volta accarezzato: disporre soffici cuscini su un piano sollevato da terra; proprio come penserebbe di fare un bambino. Oppure come suggerirebbe l’industrial design di un manufatto da realizzare in modo rapido e semplice, affinché si possa ottenere un prodotto di alta qualità con un costo sorprendentemente interessante. E anche per dare grande comfort pur mantenendo contenute le dimensioni. Pochi e normalizzati componenti formano infatti la poltrona, il divano a due e quello a tre posti, e il pouf accostabile ad essi per trasformare le sedute in forme per il relax. In essi i cuscini sono sostenuti da un solido pianale in legno di betulla e contenuti con naturalezza da eleganti volute in acciaio cromato. Mantenuti così in perfetto ordine possono peraltro, nel modo più facile, essere rimossi singolarmente per fare pulizia o per il lavaggio delle fodere.

Iperkubik. The most hypercubical sofa to be imagined is born from an idea that perhaps we all have cherished, at least once: to arrange soft cushions on a top; just as a child would do. Or, according to the suggestion of the industrial design, to realize quickly and simply a high-quality product at a very interesting cost and to offer a great comfort even keeping contained dimensions. Few and normalized components form the armchair, the 2-seat and 3-seat sofas and the pouf suitable for transforming the seats into elements for the relax. The cushions are supported by means of a strong birch wood panel and are contained in elegant volutes in chromium-plated steel that keep them in perfect order. They can also easily be taken away one by one to clean or to wash the covers.

Quadrangolo esprime il concetto di trasformabile in termini innovativi: non solo divano, non solo letto. Una grande isola quadrata scolpita da due tagli netti e scomposta in tre porzioni dalla forma asimmetrica, incernierate fra loro grazie a particolari supporti con ruote esclusivi brevettati. I tre elementi possono facilmente essere spostati a comporre le forme più libere: divano lineare, letto matrimoniale, divano angolare, chaise longue, isola relax

La particolare trapuntatura irregolare e le finiture a contrasto esaltano il carattere informale del divano; un sistema giovane e in continua evoluzione che rispecchia la dinamicità del nostro tempo. Quadrangolo è anche un prodotto classy e, grazie alle forme morbide, alle ricche imbottiture e ai numerosi cuscini di corredo, può essere bene ambientato anche in soluzioni di arredo tradizionale. Previsti anche diversi elementi accessori quali pouff quadrati e tavolini di varie misure che permettono di ampliare ulteriormente la componibilità del sistema.

Quadrangolo expresses the concept of convertible unit in innovative terms: not sofa only, not only bed. A large square island engraved by two clean cuts and split in three pieces with an asymmetrical shape, hinged by means of special patented supports on wheels.The three elements can be easily moved to create all possible compositions: linear sofa, double bed, angular sofa, chaise longue, relaxing island...

The particular irregular quilting and the contrasting trimmings enhance the informal character of the sofa; a young system in endless evolution that reflects the dynamism of our time. Quadrangolo is also a classy product and, thanks to its soft shapes, to the rich upholsteries and to the wide range of available cushions, can be easily placed even in traditional furnishings. Various accessories like square pouffs and tables in different sizes enable to increase the modularity of the system.

I tavolini sono in essenza struttura agglomerato legno pioppo, laccatura “diretta”. Finitura opaca nei colori bianco o nero.

Il divano letto “ Zac “ contiene un vero letto pronto. Il mecca-nismo brevettato di cui è dotato consente di alloggiare all’in-terno un materasso a molle tipico da letto corredato dibiancheria. Per azionare il sistema di apertura della rete è suffi-cente spingere in avanti centralmente lo schienale preso da die-tro. La rete ruotando in avanti trasporta verso di noi lo schienalee la cuscineria seduta sotto la stessa, senza avere il problema ditoglierla. Il meccanismo è una rete elettrosaldata, in acciaio ver-niciato con polveri epossidiche in forno; i piedini sono in tubocromato lucido.

Il prodotto di base è fornito con struttura retro schienale in la-miera stampata in acciaio, impreziosita con una verniciaturaepossidica finitura al “cromo lucido trasparente”, particolaritàestetica, calda ed elegante.

E’ un restyling dello storico prodotto nato nel 1995 ma con

una revisione generale di maggiori contenuti estetici e di

preziosità. Lo schienale viene imbottito nella parte anteriore,

lasciando sempre intravedere le fasce di legno stratificato

nella parte posteriore. La base in acciaio viene impreziosita

con una verniciatura epossidica finitura al “cromo lucido

trasparente”, particolarità estetica, calda e più elegante

rispetto a quella dello storico. Caratteristico l’ancoraggio dei

rulli/braccioli alla seduta e materasso tramite innesto di

bastoncino di legno per permetterne la rimozione.

In the enclosure grew a vigorous and blooming olive with thin leaves: it was big like a column. Round it I made my bridal bed.

With these words Ulysses, the Homeric hero, describes the origin of his nuptial bed. Ulisse is a sofa-bed consisting of two semicircular superposed panels in multilayer plywood. The panel below, rotating and coming out from the front, allows to form a circular base, on which the mattress is opened and laid. The frame in chromiumplated steel can be bare or complete with an upholstered panel. It acts as back-rest or as bed-head when the sofa becomes a bed. The coverings are completely removable.

Nel recinto cresceva un ulivo dalle foglie sottili, rigoglioso, fiorente: come una colonna era grosso. Intorno ad esso feci il mio talamo.

Sono le parole con cui viene descritta da Ulisse, l’eroe omerico, l’origine del suo letto nuziale. Ulisse è un divano letto costituito da due pianali a mezzaluna in legno compensato multistrati sovrapposti. Quello sottostante ruotando e uscendo frontalmente permette di formare un basamento circolare, sul quale viene aperto e appoggiato il materasso. La struttura in acciaio cromato che fa da appoggio per la schiena, o da testiera quando il divano è in funzione di letto, può essere nuda oppure completata con un pannello imbottito. I rivestimenti sono completamente sfoderabili.
