Sustainable development : a priority for BIC Sport

In order to respect the environment, our kayaks are made in thermoformed

polyethylene, a particularly ecologically friendly material, as during its production

very few hazardous chemicals are used and there is no wasted material.

Again in the production of the kayak, all excess material is broken down

and recycled back into the production process, any gas emissions into the

atmosphere are negligible and the water used for cooling is recycled.

range of four different models : Bilbao, Trinidad, Kalao Fishing and the Yakka Explorer, all specially

designed for fi shing expeditions. And then theres the brand new YakkAir range of infl atable kayaks

with their innovative dynamic hull concept.

The seat ergonomics of the whole BIC Sport kayak range have been particularly developed for optimum paddling comfort. The seat is roomy and comfortable, and is also inclined and padded to keep the paddler in place, and relieve leg pressure while using the foot braces. The centre of gravity is positioned low for better stability, but above the fl otation line so that the bottom of the seat stays dry. An optional seat is available as an accessory to optimize comfort.

TST - Twin Sheet Technology : exclusive construction techniqueTwin sheet Technology creates a product that is lighter and stronger than rotomoulded products. These qualities, coupled with our UV resistant polyethylene, give BIC Sport kayaks exceptional durability. Durable and rigid: With more than 20 years experience in the design and manufacturing of water sports equipment, BIC Sport has used its vast knowledge to make BIC Sport Kayaks fast, comfortable and stable. The hulls of the Bilbao and Tobago have clean fl uid lines despite their compact size. These characteristics give the kayaks excellent gliding and stability qualities.

THD - Tri Hull Design : designed for funThe THD shape has been developed to provide improved gliding and stability while maintaining maneuverability. It is the result of over 20 years of BIC Sport watercraft design and innovation. The central section (1) increases gliding, two outside hull sections (2) stabilize the kayak and two intermediate concaves (3) create lift and heighten performance.

YakkAir : The choice of materials and the design of our new YakkAir range have been the subject of an enormous amount of research, resulting in a kayak that is light weight, good looking and delivers great performance. The dynamic, double-concave hull gives the kind of handling youd normally expect from a rigid. A revolution in infl atable kayak design.

The spirit of fun kayaking ! The Ouassou is designed as a versatile, fun kayak with a wide range of use. With its excellent

glide, control and maneuverability, the Ouassou is ideal for beach fun. The stern handles let you hang on and swim and allow easy

access on board. The Ouassou also handles surf and waves comfortably. The spatula shaped hull is derived from surf longboards and

rodeo kayaks. Its quick and responsive.

The slight keel and lateral rail design provide directional stability and excellent tracking. The Ouassous optional knee-strap system also

allows you to secure your body to the cockpit when you are looking for greater control in waves or whitewater. Its compact form and

light weight make this a kayak that is easy to maneuver, transport and store.
