THE SECOND COMING• “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of

man in heaven: and then shall the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds with power and great glory.

• And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the earth to the other.”-Matthew 24:30-31

THE SECOND COMING

• Since the late 1800s, Earth has been preparing for the Second Advent of Christ…Soon the hopes and dreams of these generations will be realized…when we all see Jesus. Soon there will be no more disasters.

THE SECOND COMING

• Since the days of Cain and Able, crime and violence have plagued the planet…Jesus said that these events will get worse…culminating with His second advent, Especially from those entrusted to watch(verse 48)

THE SECOND COMING

• Just like He did on that April afternoon in 31 AD,Jesus is still pointing His disciples to the signs of His coming.

• ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?

• SIGNS OF THE SECIND COMING

• Jesus gave many signs that were to point to His second Advent :

• Wars• Famine• Earthquakes• False Christ• Tribulation

THE SECOND COMING

• The 20th century has seen more signs of Jesus’ coming than at any other time in history…These included the two wars,the invention of computers among many other advances.

• But the greatest of all these is the advancement of the gospel(verse14)… Jesus will not return until everyone on Earth has been expose to the plan of salvation.

THE SECOND COMING• In the year 2000 it may

seem that the Prophet of Patmos is centuries off concerning the second coming of Jesus…but if we’d only compare his words,with today’s headlines …we’d be surprised.

THE SECOND COMING

• “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying I am Christ, and shall deceive many…and many false prophets shall rise and deceive many.”-(verse 4,5,11)

THE SECOND COMING

• WITHOUT SIN• Jesus will not come

until his character is perfectly reproduced in His people. Like a portrait, His image must be our image…only then will Jesus come!

THE SECOND COMING

• THE ABCs OF Conversion:

• A-Accept the fact that you are a sinner.

• B-Believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners.

• C-Confess your sins and forsake them.

THE SECOND COMING• Jesus died at Calvary

for this very moment in history…when He will return and take home His ransomed ones…Those who have confessed Him as LORD and Savior will be the ones that will be favored to go home with Him.

THE SECOND COMING

• HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORD SHALL NOT PASS AWAY-Matthew 24:35

THE SECOND COMING

• At this moment Jesus is in the heavenly sanctuary, pleading His blood on our behalf, but soon He will be returning as our King…Will you be ready when He comes back for You?
