Dreams and Visions from the Bible – Part 4
•Laban Pursues Jacob
• Genesis 31:22-24 (NKJV)• 22 And Laban was told on the third day
that Jacob had fled. 23 Then he took his brethren with him and pursued him for seven days’ journey, and he overtook him in the mountains of Gilead. 24 But God had come to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, “Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.”
Laban overtakes Jacob.
A warning dream to a sinner
• In Laban’s dream, the Lord is warning him of the way he should speak to Jacob.
• In this way, Laban understands that the God of Jacob is taking care of him.
Laban comes to Gilead
• Genesis 31:28-29 (NKJV)• 28 And you did not allow me to
kiss my sons and my daughters. Now you have done foolishly in so doing. 29 It is in my power to do you harm, but the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, ‘Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.’
Laban follows his dream
• Laban even that he doesn’t know the God of the Hebrews, realizes that is better for him to follow his dream.
• He overtakes Jacob but he doesn’t cause any harm to Jacob and he plainly explains the reason.

a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.

They follow their dream
• They received a Warning:– that they should not return to
Herod
• They obey and change route.• They departed for their own
country another way.
They return by other way.
• Next Dream:
•Pilate’s wife dream.
Pilate’s wife experience
Matthew 27:19 (NKJV)
• 19 While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”
• Pilate did not pay attention to his wife advice and went ahead with his way.
• Even that he knew Jesus was innocent, he still hand him to be crucified.
• The bible doesn’t say more about Pilate, but probably he was not a happy man after his decision.
