Practical Experience
The College is situated on the Thanda Private Game Reserve in Northern Zululand, South Africa . The reserve falls within the Maputaland Global Biodiversity Hotspot and is regarding as an area of outstanding biodiversity.
The Reserve is home to the Big 5 (which includes Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard and Lion. Cheetah, Wild Dogs and Black Rhino also roam freely on the reserve.
The reserve is situated between the Zululand towns of Mkuze and Hluhluwe and is surrounded by private reserves and national parks such as Mkuze Game Reserve, Hluhluwe Umfolozi, Zuluand Rhino Reserve and the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park.
