INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

The above time table is as per the approval of Bharati Vidyapeceth (Deemed to be University) Pune and as per guidelines of the State Government.

The prevalence of COVIDI9 in Pune has drastically come down in the last 30 days in the city. This is expected to further decrease gradually. The talked about resurgence is an aspect which is not in our hands. If it does happen, it is expected that the Government will then issue instructions for lockdown, if required, then this institution will also comply accordingly.

MUHS Nashik, some other state medical universities& Deemed to be Universities have declared their schedule for final exams. We do not want our students to lag academically in comparison to students from other universities, when they appear for PG Entrance Exam after a year or two depending on their current academic status result in a delay in completion of the BAMS course.

Students should have an RTPCR test done before coming to college, if any family member has tested positive for COVID or if the student has come in contact with COVID positive case in the previous 14 days. They should report to Bharati Ayurved Hospital Flu OPD on arrival for medical examination and quarant1ne if necessary.

Hostel is an extended family where two or three students share a room. The similar situation prevails when the student is staying at home with his family members. All the students are MEDICAL STUDENTS who are aware about hand hygiene, social distancing and other COVIDI9 precautions.

All the students staying outside should follow the rules laid down by the concermed society/Pune Municipal Corporation and accordingly report.

.All the students should follow the protocols laid down by Govermment/PMC/College authorities from time to time.

If, unfortunately, any students falls ill due to COVID19 he/she will be treated at Bharati Hospital, which is a designated COVID hospital. Separate rooms will be allocated for quarantine for those staying in hostels. Students staying outside can opt for home isolation (after registering at Bharati Hospital) or quarantine facility made available by hospital. All the students should give a self declaration on reporting that they are not having symptoms related to COVID19 and that they will follow all the rules and regulations with regards to pandemic (Annex 1). They will also submit a letter from parents stating that they are permitting their ward to join college (Annex I1).

The requirement of consent from parents is a part of the documentation process as dictated by Government of India guidelines. The self-declaration from students is a requirement to ensure that they follow existing instructions as required by local authorities.

Students should wear mask and follow social distancing during practicals, clinics & examination. Students should maintain hand hygiene. Hand wash/Soap will be available at all places. However, as precautionary measure student may carry personal sanitizer.

As far as possible they should avoid using elevators. They should use staircase and should not touch the walls or any other surface. Students should use non-dominant hand for opening

doors/using handles wherever required

They should avoid being in groups as far as possible

Student should not attend college if he/she is suffering from coldcough/fever or any othe influenza like symptom

.Respiratory ctiquettes are to be strictly followed This involves strict practice of covering one's mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly and wearing of mask all the tüme

Students should avoid sharing of aprons/handkerchief/or any other item which may spread the

virus

Students should not eat meals together and should observe social distancing

.Students should maintain their health by doing regular exercise, having good nutritious food and

avoiding crowded/public places till the pandemic is over.

Student should NOT use social media for propagating fake news and also should not spread

rumours that may affect college/university/society in general.

.They should be aware of all rules and regulations stipulated by Government (Central State) regarding use/misuse of social media.

As per suggestion of Government/UGC all students should download AAROGYA SETU app

.Student should go out only for purchase of essentials and in case of emergency

. If students need any kind of help, they can contact their mentor of Ward teacher programme Faculty are available.

.If students become ill your personal details-name, mobile number, current residkential address will be shared with Public health authorities as per the Epidemic act.

.Reading room in College library may be made available to exam going students only. with strict adherence to social distancing norms, if local conditions permit

Students are advised to read the Notices displayed on the website, pertaining to payment of fees Fees needs to be remitted immediately in order for us to complete and submit examination forms

to the university in time.

Commencement of classes after examinations will be intimated in due course and Students should

join the online or ofline classes for next semester as per the prevailing COVID 19 situation, after

the declaration of university results
