Two folk Dances related to Maharashtra and Odisha State were performed beautifully by the students to show the essence of both the states.

Date: 18th April 2018(b)Brief about Event: Students of Standard VI toVIII were given the topics to make projects based on ‘Dances and Music of Odisha’.

Report of the event: Students made projects depicting the theme Dance and Music of Odisha.

Date: 20th April 2018( c) Brief about Event: Quiz on the topic ‘The state of Odisha’ was conducted for students of standard IX and X.

Report of the event: The quiz conducted on the above mentioned topic helped to enhance the knowledge of the students regarding the state of Odisha.

3. Event Name: Independence Day CelebrationTopic: Two Jewels of East and WestVenue: Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School

Date: 15th Aug 2018

Brief about Event: Musical event based on the two states of odisha and Maharashtra was presented by the students to show the two jewels of East and West. Balgangadhar Tilak from Maharashtra and Surendranath Sai from Odisha were showcased and their contribution towards their state was also highlighted through dance drama .Report of the event: Students enacted as Balgangadhar Tilak from Maharashtra and Surendranath Sai from odisha and conveyed the message to the students through their performance.

All the activities have been carried out according to the action plan from (31st Oct 2017 to 30 Oct 2018) sent to CBSE.
