Transcript of Bharat Ratna Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Bharat Ratna Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not only one of the greatest
statesmen of our time but he was also an amazing speaker and a sensitive creative-
soul. A fitting tribute to such a soul, Atal Art Competition, which started in 2018,
aims at nurturing the minds of young aspirants of art and culture, allowing them to
assimilate the moral, social, political and creative ideals of Atalji.
The second season of this competition is expected to start its sojourn from
the point where we left it and surely it will set new benchmarks of achievement and
success. With its successful planning to induct students from class IV to class VIII (40
from each class) from 125 schools, this competition witnessed 25000 participants in
the first round, which was held at school level. About 1250 students, 10 per school
and 2 per class, were selected for the final round, which was organized at Nilansh
Theme Park Resort & Water Park, Itaunja, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. Apart from
one winner and one runner per class, 8 consolatory prizes (total 50) were handed over
to them by Honorable Sri Rajnath Singh, the then Home Minister of India & Dy.
Chief Minister U.P. Dr. Dinesh Sharma , in a grand ceremony.
This art competition, created by a philanthropic organization with
the goal of empowering young people and to draw their attention to the vast legacy
left by one of the greatest Ratna of Mother India, challenges children and young
people to use art and creative writing to explore themes of diversity, race, equality and
identity through their artwork . Nilansh foundation provides a stage for unlocking
