    Bharat Dynamics Limited, a high-technology fast growing Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence having threeproduction units at Kanchanbagh Hyderabad, Bhanur Medak District and Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh requiresEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PERSONNEL & ADMINISTRATION (Grade IX) in the pay scale ofRs.51300-3%-73000 to lead a P&A team.

    NOTE: Candidats who has applied against Executive Director (P&A) Advt.2010-2 need to send a consent

    letter in writing mentioning that their application to be considered against this advertisement for the post

    of Executive Director (P&A).

    AGE: Maximum age limit is 50 years as on 01-Mar-2011, relaxable by 5 years in deserving cases. Relaxation in age willbe available in case of SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EX-Servicemen as per rules. In any case maximum age limit will not bemore than 55 years including the discretionary relaxation that may be given. For BDL internal candidates the maximumage limit is 53 years.

    QUALIFICATION: Degree with specialized professional qualifications including Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in SocialWelfare / Personnel Management / Social Sciences / Industrial Relations awarded by recognized University / Institutionsrecognized by Government (OR) MBA from Indian Institute of Management (OR) any other University recognized byGovernment with Specialization in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations (2 years course). Degree in Law isdesirable.

    DETAILED EXPERIENCE:

    18 years experience in Personnel & Administration / Human Resources Management out of which 2 years in theimmediate lower grade or equivalent scale,Aligning employees to a common set of objectives derived from the MOU, MISSION and VALUE statements,Mitigation of risk by devising appropriate Succession Planning Strategies,Identification and proper Management of top-performers and non-performers,Continuous measurement of the effectiveness of leadership and employee satisfaction,Increasing employee engagement through appropriate measures,

    Performance related pay, aligning compensation to performance,Adjustment of recruitment and training to competency gaps,Specifying well-defined Job Descriptions, which map to the Organisation Structure and become the basis forRecruitment, Goal Setting, Training, Performance Evaluation and Career Development,Well versed with Labour Laws,Remuneration packages,Manpower assignment,Competency Mapping,Multi-tasking,Maintaining cordial Industrial Relations.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE: Is by Interview.

    PAY & ALLOWANCES: In addition to basic pay, DA & HRA, 45% of Basic Pay as perks and allowances as admissible willbe paid.

    Other facilities, viz., PF, Gratuity, Medical facilities etc.

    GENERAL CONDITIONS:1. Management reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies advertised as per the need or

    17. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or anapplication in response thereto can be instituted in appropriate Courts/ Tribunals / Forums in Hyderabad only,shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any cause/ dispute.

    HOW TO APPLY:

    Applications should be submitted as per the BIO-DATA form. For application format log on to BDL Websitehttp://bdl.ap.nic.in and click on Careers > Recruitments and subsequently enter on relevant post beingapplied. Applications will not be accepted through any other mode. The Website will be open on 09/03/2011 andcloses on 26/03/2011 at 16:00 hrs for downloading the BIO-DATA form. The Web site will be kept open up to

    16:00 hrs. on that day for this purpose. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and applications once submittedcannot be altered under any circumstances. Candidates are required to possess a valid e-mail ID, which is to beentered in the bio-data form, so that intimation regarding dispatch of call letter for Interview and any other relevantinformation to be sent. BDL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidates. However,necessary information will be hosted on BDLs Website from time to time. Candidates other than SC/ST and PWD arerequired to furnish the details of Demand Draft in the bio-data form.

    It is mandatory to write his/her Name on the reverse side of the Demand Draft and SC/ST/PWD on the reverse sideof the certificates, which is to be forwarded along with filled in Bio-data form (as per proforma at Annexure - I) toDGM, C-P&A (Plg & ED), Bharat Dynamics Limited, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad 500 058 by post so as toreach latest by 31/03/2011. The envelope should be superscribed with Application for the post being applied in BOLDLETTERS. In case of non-receipt of the same by BDL with in the stipulated date (i.e. 31/03/2011), his/her applicationis liable to be rejected by BDL.

    Selected candidates are required to complete all pre-employment formalities like medical examination, documentverification etc. Please note that no extension of time limit for joining would be granted to the selected candidates.
