Type of school: with focus on natural sciences and (another one) with focus on art
Furthermore involved subjects: geography, biology, languages (Spanish, French and English )

Objectives for the pupils:
Pupils should :
• enhance the ability to reflect and communicate about art• develop different strategies and methods in dissolving problems
• should gain technical professional competence and methods expertiseas well as soft skills and self competence
• should become aware of the possibility of transfer of knowledge by the use of subject typical potential
• learn how to document their personal activities and developments in an adequate form by compiling their results in an exemplary and presentable way.
• get to know about the correlation of interactions between artistic manifestationsand socially developments in and out of Europe.

Program of artistic emphasis:
Workshop with artist /length of time: 3 days
First part 7. 11. 2005 (at school)
Second part between March and May (studio of the artist)

Practical work:
Examination of different artistic techniques ( frottage, etching, lithography, etc.)
Theoretical background:
Examination of natural forms and their transformation in works of art during the centuries
( for example Erich Haeckel, Klee, Kandinsky, Arnulf Rainer, Art Nouveau,…)

In chronological order sequences of artistic activities in cooperation with the artist
• Collecting, selecting material
• Moulds of herbal natural material by frottage
• Experimentation in form of rearrangement, recombining the originated results, etc.
• Transfer, transform of the results by using different graphical techniques
• Record of the whole process by keeping research books

• personal views upon the natural environment in our towns (garden architecture, wild nature, own private gardens..)
• personal experiences with natural phenomena • how we enjoy, use, play (or used to play as children) with/ within nature
