BFI Southbank shows a mix of conglomerate and independent films and the majority of them are classics.
Implications
Because the cinema only has four screens and the fact they mainly show classics could cause a decrease in the overall profit made. Also because it is an independent cinema it means that they can’t rely on the other locations to keep them going. However they are a charity based cinema meaning their not aiming on making profit for themselves but for charity. They have bars and lounges available which means that they will gain some profit through that as well as the shop as they could not only rely on the films they show as there would be small audiences due to the limited number of screens.
