Welcome AddressApirag Chuangsuwanich M.D.Associate professor and Chief of Division of Plastic Surgery,Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok ThailandPresident of the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Thailand

It is great honor for me to be a guest speaker in the 2nd International Congress of Minimal Invasive Plastic Surgery andDermatology (MIPS) 2010. Aesthetic surgery is a growing subject and has been increased in demand in all parts of the world. Our duty is tomaintain high standard of treatment with up to-date technology for our customers. Minimal invasive plastic surgery is one of the growingfields in aesthetic surgery. Many new instruments, techniques and drugs have been invented. We are grateful to Korean Association ofMinimal Invasive Plastic Surgery for hosting this conference. Their tremendous efforts have culminated to be a very good program thatrepresents a collection of scientific and practical information from speakers not only regional but also international as well. This will be afruitful benefit to all the participants.I wish this conference a very successful one and encourage all the participants to take the opportunity to visit the most vibrant city “Seoul”and to explore the amazing Korea.

Mark Berman M.D.President - American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery

I have been graced with the opportunity to welcome our dear colleagues to the 2nd International Meeting of MinimallyInvasive Plastic Surgery 2010 Korea. Of course, this couldn’t be done without thanking Drs. Lee, Kim, Choi, the organizingcommittee and the administrative staff for their commitment to make the 2nd International Meeting a truly World Class

Experience. It’s to our patient’s benefit that we can meet in the wonderful city of Seoul in order to exchange ideas and knowledge withdoctors from all over the world. We are all fortunate for our host’s vision that extends beyond their horizons, shrinking our world, recognizingthere is no monopoly on hard work and innovation, and giving us the opportunity to share and grow in our endeavors to advance our care incosmetic / plastic surgery. We hope you enjoy this meeting, take home new information and a list of new acquaintances.

Thank you Korea for making our world a bit smaller.

Pier Antonio Bacci M.D.Professor on Aesthetic Surgery in Siena University - ItalyDirector of Mini invasive Aesthetic Surgery Centre - Arezzo, Italy

This is the field of the minimally invasive aesthetic surgery and it is important to correctly evaluate - and have the patientcomprehend - the real gain from these minimally invasive means. The patient demands and the surgeon should

understand very well these requests, after a precise diagnosis we can use the better methodology answering to the precise indication of theaesthetic pathology and the dream of the patient. All these methodologies offer advantages and best indications, but they can become in a real synergism when we use them in integratedtreatments. This is a minimally invasive and out-patient surgery, with a high-level safety, good and lasting results and a low social and physical uneasinesswith least complications. Every phase is important for the good result of the intervention, but the phase most important results to be thechoice of the patient and the respect for the indications. For all these reasons we must to participate at this important congress in Seoul, a magic city in a wonderful country.

Michael E.Jasin M.D.Fellow- American College of Surgeons Fellow- American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

I am indeed honored to be invited by Dr. Choi to speak at the 2nd International Congress for Minimally Invasive PlasticSurgery. Last year’s inaugural event was an overwhelming success. I very much appreciate the privilege to participate in

what promises to be an even greater event, and welcome the opportunity to interact with my Asian colleagues. The program chairpersons, Iknow, have worked diligently to produce a forum that is conducive to a healthy exchange of ideas between its participants. Although I lookforward to presenting at MIPS 2010, I am anticipating that I will experience a great opportunity to learn from my colleagues.
