The Current Situation
© BEVO Consulting Group, 2014
Wister is facing an unforeseen downtime in auto-‐parts orders that is threatening the jobs of 19 employees.
At risk of losing the most productive workers by far
Now facing a 90 day gap with no orders
Initial Loaned-‐Labor solution has created employee distrust

MEMORANDUM
To: All production employees
Subject: Loaned Labor Program 2014
Due to the unpredictable delay of future sales, we have decided
to implement a loaned labor program. Employees will report to local
nonprofits for the next 90 days instead of working at the Wister
This will be in effect next Monday (11/3/14), and any
questions/concerns may be put in the request box outside of HR.
If you were an employee receiving this memo, how would you react?
What could have been done differently?
