Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23:6 KJ

The goodness and mercy has followed Bethlehem for 107 years. Therefore, we welcome back home members, former members, family and friends. We are happy to see you back again! Thank you for making this event one of the most anticipated events of our calendar year. May God bless you in a special way for coming back home. You can always come home again.

We have brought in four great men of God this year to help us celebrate our 107th Church An-niversary and Homecoming. We are overjoyed to have with us Sunday, September 20, 2009, Senior Pastor Richard Gaines and Rev. Michael Ford of the Community Missionary Baptist Church in Norman, Oklahoma. Rev. Michael Ford will share with us in the 11 AM Service and Pastor Gaines and the rest of the Community Church family will be with us at our 6 PM service. We would like to thank the Community Church family for celebrating with us!

We are delighted to have with us Sunday, September 27, 2009 in our 11 AM service Dr. G. Wilson Jones of the Starkville, Mississippi. I would not have the opportunities that I have today if it had not been for the Lord using you in my life. Thank you Dr. Jones for coming home again and for all you have done for me and my family personally in the ministry.

We are also thrilled to have Dr. Charles Martin of the Union Missionary Baptist Church in Dal-las, Texas in our 4 PM service, Sunday, September 27, 2009. We still remember how God used Dr. Martin and the Union family in 2008. You were a great encouragement to us. We thank you and we pray that God will use you greatly again this year. Thank you Dr. Martin and Union family for coming to celebrate our Homecoming.

Last, but not least, we are asking all member to give a $107.00 dollar donation for the con-struction of our new building. We will be breaking ground by faith in 2010!

Pray that God will bless us with the resources to build Him a new House of Bread right here in Pauls Valley. Truly In Christ,

Michael Eaton

In July of 1996, Bethlehem called the Rev. C. R. Leslie Jr. During his pastorate the Children's Church Ministry was established. In April of 2000, Bethlehem called the Rev. Lee A. Benson. After much prayer, The Lord blessed us in June of 2003, by sending Rev. Harold Brewer. Under his leadership, God blessed Bethlehem to

make tremendous strides both spiritu-ally and materially. In April of 2007, Bethlehem called the Rev. Michael Eaton. May God bless our church under this man of God's new leadership. Bethlehem’s Leadership

We've pitched our tents on land near turbu-lent waters, but the lead-ers who have waited in the camp have caught the gleam of a new day, and have each in their turn brought us into greater and more secure avenues of success. The Church today with its outstanding leadership and its background of loyal followers stands as a city that sets on a hill. We pray to ever hold to those principles of faith and doctrine that has made us useful and inspi-rational. As proud as we are of our church, we are constantly praying to the Master to keep us humble enough to be of service.

We want to always remember The beautiful life you lived

And keep alive the memories we have

Through remembering what you did

For you’re so special to all of us

A wonderful person indeed Your love, laughter and warm

smile Reflected a heart that believed

Just in the everyday things we do

We remember your faith and love

In the words you spoke to help us through

Is a continued reminder for us

Although we miss you so very much

We know we’ll see you once more

For this is the hope we have in God

Being re-united in the Lord

And as we gather we’ll continue to share

Special times we went through For these are memories that

warm our hearts As we honour the memory of

Dr. G. Wilson Jones Senior Pastor Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Starkville, Mississippi

Dr. Gregory Wilson Jones is the third son of an Oklahoma Baptist preacher. He was born to preach and teach the gospel. The word of God to Jeremiah is the declaration that was given to him when he was a young boy. He heard the LORD say, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the na-tions”. At the age of nine he began to preach the word of God with power. As a boy preacher he preached all over the state of Oklahoma. Again and again giving evidence that the hand of God was upon him and that he had been anointed to preach the good news of Jesus. He has pastored churches in Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. He is married to his wife Mar-tha and they have seven blessings from the Lord. His son Ray is following his legacy into the ministry. In August of 1994, at the age of thirty-nine, Pastor Jones was called to the Greater Ebene-zer Missionary Baptist Church of Starkville, Mississippi. Many souls have been added to the church over the years. We are in the final stages of planning of our new worship building. This year will mark thirteen years of faithful service to the church and community. Pastor Jones has served as President of the Starkville Ministerial Association. He is Co-Founder of Oktibbeha County Justice Coalition. He has served as chaplain of Mississippi State University Football team. He served as a staff member of the Baptist Student Union at MSU. He is the Homiletics Professor at the Life Renewal Bible College, the Professor of Old Testament at the Covenant Bible College, Starkville, Mississippi and Homiletics Professor at Ministerial Institute and College in West Point, Mississippi. Pastor Jones last year preached 30 revivals all over the United States of America. He has two books of sermons that have been published in 2006. His books are entitled Preaching from the Heart of Job and Moving from Power Shortage to Power Surge. The Rev. Dr. Gregory Wilson Jones is an accomplished theologian, pastor and evangelist. He has degrees from American Baptist College, B A in Bible and Theology and from the American Theological Institute and Seminary of San Antonio, Texas, Master of Theology and Doctor’s of Ministry from the Life Renewal Bible College of Starkville, Mississippi. If you asked him he would tell you that he is just a nobody going everywhere telling every-body about somebody who can change anybody! His name is Jesus!
