How to Apply In order to join BAΨ, you must meet the following criteria: 1. GPA Requirements:

• Enrolled in ACCT 350: o Accounting GPA ≥ 3.50 o and overall GPA ≥ 3.50 or a GPA of ≥ 3.50 in the most recent 30 units completed.

• Enrolled in ACCT 351 or above: o Accounting GPA ≥ 3.30 o Upper division accounting GPA ≥ 3.00 o Overall GPA ≥ 3.20 or a GPA of ≥ 3.50 in the most recent 30 units completed.

2. Visit our website www.csunbap.org to complete and submit the Membership Application.

3. Pay the Applicable Fees

o Candidates are required to pay a one-time candidate fee of $100. $65 of this is paid to the international organization for your lifetime membership.

o Members and initiates pay $30 dues every semester.

4. Attend Candidates Integration Day and one of the two Weekend Seminars (TBA). These events are mandatory for all non-initiated members.

About Beta Alpha Psi

Scholarship | Responsibility | Practicality Beta Alpha Psi (BAΨ) is an accounting honor society that strives to recognize accounting students who have maintained high academic standards. The objective of our society is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting.

Members Responsibilities

All non-initiated members of BAΨ must meet the Point Requirement per semester to remain in good standing.

• Minimum of 45 points per semester.

• Individual activity is measured in hours → One hour equals 1.2 points.

• Members must always sign-in and sign-out during the event and sign with their initials.

• The points are updated every two weeks at www.csunbap.org.

• ACHIEVING POINTS IS NOT HARD!

o There are many opportunities throughout the semester that you can attend to complete your points. We try to accommodate everyone’s schedule by having multiple meetings and events within the week and professional and social events during the weekend!

o If you need help planning out your schedule to make time, please reach out to our BAP directors and executive board who are more than happy to help.

• Probation: Failure to complete the required 45 points per semester will result in a temporary probation in the following semester.

o Failure to meet the required 45 points during probation will result in expulsion from BAΨ.
