Day 03 Munnar – Thekkady (90 kms / approx. 2.5 hours) After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Thekkady is synonymous to uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity and spice plantations. The place is best known for the Periyar National Park. In the afternoon, proceed for boat-ride at Periyar Lake, and in evening watch traditional Kalaripayattu show. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 Thekkady – Kumarakom (120 kms / approx. 3 hour) After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board your houseboat on arrival. Alleppey, "Venice of the East" has a large network of backwater canals that meander through the town, surrounding villages and Vembanad Lake. Cruise through the beautiful and scenic backwaters of Kerala, while you stay in houseboat. Overnight stay on houseboat.

Day 05 Kumarakom - Cochin (50 kms / approx. 1.5 hours) After breakfast, drive to Cochin. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, Enjoy city tour covering Mattancherry Palace- gifted to the king of Cochin, by Portuguese in 1555, about 500 year old Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, local spices market followed by colorful performing art – Kathakali Dance. After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Periyar. Set high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Herds of playful wild elephants have made Periyar Lake their favorite haunt for frolicking in the water. They can be witnessed bathing and swimming here. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Other inhabitants of Periyar include the leopard, wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri langur, bonnet macaque, sambhar, porcupines, squirrels, gaur (Indian bison), wild boar and sloth bear. Later, take a spice plantation tour. The aroma and pleasant ambiance of the spice and tea plantations of Periyar are fascinating. Spices found in Thekkady include pepper, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, vanilla and curry leaves. In evening, watch traditional Kalaripayattu show. (Optional) - You can also enjoy an elephant ride in Periyar. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 Drive from Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 kms / approx. 3.5 hour) After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kumarakom - a charming emerald peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake dotted with innumerable traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Enjoy a sunset cruise in Vembanad Lake (On direct payments). Overnight at the backwater resort.

Day 06 Drive from Kumarakom – Kovalam (180 kms / approx. 4.5 hours) After breakfast, drive towards south of Kerala, Kovalam- located close to the state capital Trivandrum, it is internationally famed for its palm-fringed beaches and rejuvenating centers. This coastal town initially came to notice with the construction of Halcyon Castle by the last Maharani of Travancore - Sethu Lakshmi Bayi. With the arrival of hippies in 1970s, the place gained recognition as a tourist destination and is today renowned for its 17 km-long coastline, which is formed by three beautiful beaches - Lighthouse, Hawah and Samudra. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 07 Excursion to Kanyakumari, with Trivandrum sightseeing After breakfast, take excursion trip to Kanyakumari (One way - 85 kms / approx. 2.5 hours) – visit the Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhi Museum and southernmost point. While returning, also cover Napier Museum, Art Gallery and Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Return to Kovalam for overnight stay.

Day 1: Arrival at Bangalore Meet our representative upon arrival in Bangalore and Check-in hotel at Bangalore. Afternoon, do half day city tour of Bangalore, Visit Cubbon Park, the 120-hectare park located near the Vidhan Soudha… a lush, grassy expanse of rolling lawns with colourful flowerbeds. Take a tour of the Vidhana Soudha …one of the most imposing buildings Bangalore. Built in the Neo- Dravidian style, it houses the Legislative Chambers of the state government. Also visit the Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens. Next, proceed to the famous Bull Temple, dedicated to Nandi Bull. Built in the Dravidian style, the temple houses a huge monolithic idol of Nandi. Conclude you tour with a visit to Tipu Sultan’s Fort, the summer residence of Tipu Sultan. The Palace inside the fort is a two-storied wooden structure, carved out of teakwood with decorated pillars, concave arches and balconies.

Day 02 Bangalore to Mysore (140 kms / approx. 3.5 hours) After breakfast, drive towards Mysore - An ancient city with more than 600 glorious years of legacy, Mysore is one of the most flamboyant places in India. Known for its glittering royal heritage, bustling markets, magnificent monuments, cosmopolitan culture and a friendly populace, it is also a thriving centre for the production of premium silk, sandalwood and incense. After reaching, check-in at hotel and visit Mysore Palace - The interior of Mysore Palace is richly carved, intricate, colorful and architecturally thrilling. It is from this palace the erstwhile rulers, the Wodeyars, ruled the Mysore Kingdom. A Sound & Light show which narrates the palace's history with effects of illumination is a must-watch for palace. Day 03 Mysore to Ooty (130 kms / approx. 3.5 hours) After breakfast, drive towards Ooty – also called ‘Queen of hill stations’, capital of Nilgiris district, used to be popular summer and weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. Day 01 Arrival in Bangalore | Drive to Ooty (270 kms / approx. 6 hours) Meet our representative upon arrival in Bangalore and drive towards Ooty – also called ‘Queen of hill stations’, capital of Nilgiri district, used to be popular summer and weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. Lofty mountains, dense forest, sprawling grasslands and miles and miles of tea gardens made this place so popular in southern India. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 Sightseeing in Ooty After breakfast, enjoy a tour to Dodabetta Peak for a spectacular view. Later, drive to Coonoor (21 kms / approx. 45 mins) and visit Sims Park and 'Dolphin' Nose Point. In the afternoon, visit the Botanical Gardens and the popular Ooty Lake. Return to the hotel after sightseeing and have a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 03 Drive from Ooty – Kodaikanal (250 kms / approx. 7 hours) After breakfast, drive towards Kodaikanal – Centered on a very pretty lake, Kodai rambles up and down hillsides with patches of shola forest, unique to the Western Ghats in South India, and evergreen broadleaf trees such as magnolia, mahogany, myrtle and rhododendron. Another plant specialty around here is the kurinji shrub, whose lilac-blue blossoms only appear every 12 years: next due date 2018. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival, for overnight stay.

Day 04 Sightseeing in Kodaikanal After breakfast proceed for local tour of Kodaikanal covering - Bryant Park, Coaker's walk, Pillar Rock and Suicide point. Day 06 Full day Munnar Sightseeing After breakfast, Explore Eravikulam National Park, home to various elusive and endangered species. It is a great place to enjoy trekking and offers mind-blowing views of the tea plantations. Later, proceed towards Tea Museum (closed on Monday), which gives an insight to the history of tea plantations of this region. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Munnar – Thekkady (90 kms / approx. 2.5 hours) After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Thekkady is synonymous to uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity and spice plantations. The place is best known for the Periyar National Park. In the afternoon, proceed for boat-ride at Periyar Lake, and in evening watch traditional Kalaripayattu show. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08 Departure from Cochin (140 kms / approx. 4.5 hours) After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin airport for return flight back home.
